About this clinic
Arthritis Knee Pain Centers, located in New Jersey, specializes in platelet-rich plasma therapy for knee arthritis and related joint conditions. PRP is an orthobiologic treatment that concentrates platelets from a patient's own blood to support tissue repair and reduce inflammation in damaged joints. The clinic positions itself as an alternative to surgical intervention, offering individualized consultations and screening to determine whether PRP may be appropriate for a given patient's presentation. Treatment plans are customized based on the severity of arthritis and the patient's clinical goals, with an emphasis on non-surgical regenerative approaches.
I had such a great experience at this office! I went in for severe gout pain and the doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to really explain what was going on and how to treat it. I felt heard, cared for, and confident in the treatment plan.
The staff was just as amazing — so kind, welcoming, and friendly from the moment I walked in. The whole visit felt smooth and professional. I’m so grateful for the relief I’m already feeling. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for compassionate and thorough care

I previously left a review, today I am providing an update. My experience, complete waste of money and time. I went thru treatment and found slight relief as soon as the treatment ended, I was worse off than when I started. Poorer too. I paid out of pocket about $600. Ask weekly for a summary of my expenses. Was told eventually I would receive it. Today, is more than 3 months since I stop treatment and I received a bill for about $150. Interesting when I looked at the bill, it only showed what the Medicare paid, it did not show what I paid out of pocket. The person I spoke with explain to me; company policy is not to send a full statement unless the patient requests it. So what are they hiding???
Don't waste your time or money. If a cortisone shot does not help, go see an orthopedic. My surgery is schedule for this Monday. My biggest regret is spending time and energy going to this clinic. I wasted too much time and wished I had the surgery sooner.

The front desk staff are wonderful! Doctor and PA are amazing to deal with! I have had no issues with my knees so far! Would recommend to those dealing with chronic pain 100%!

First, I want to acknowledge that my one star review is not a reflection on the office staff, PA, or brace specialist. They are all wonderful. This review is regarding the insensitive and unprofessional care I received from Dr. Streisand. I found him to be condescending, dismissive, and judgmental. While I am fully aware that losing more weight would lessen the pressure on my joints, I had already shared with the doctor that have lost a great amount of weight and kept it off for a long time. ). I was very clear about this in my medical history and in my conversation with Dr. Streisand. Each of my 5 visits for injections, he constantly berated me and harped on me losing weight and go on weight loss meds. I even shared with him that my primary Dr is an obesity medicine Dr but that didn’t seem to matter. After my second of three gel injections, I was in a great deal of pain (first two injections were anti-inflammatory). When I came in for my 3rd gel shot, I explained how much pain I was in and Dr. Streisand showed no kindness or compassion and instead asked “how many pounds did you lose this week?”. I was stunned and added that I can’t even walk for a minute at this point without stopping and he replied “because you’re short of breath?”! To which I replied no, it is because of knee pain! All he said is the shots should be helping and come back for a check in 6 weeks. Upon arriving home, I did my own research and learned that the gel shots can cause an autoimmune response in people with autoimmune disease (which I have and he was well aware of). Instead of telling me that, he chose to ask my how many pounds I lost that week!! I immediately put myself on a steady protocol of Advil for a few days and fortunately the pain got better. If I choose to get another round of injections in 6 months, I will absolutely be happy to travel to another location to hopefully receive compassionate care from a kinder doctor.
