I had visited the downtown clinic at 225 Broadway where my experience was also disappointing and they referred me to this midtown location for a scan. I arrived in the office which had no receptionists working and a sign to sign in. I signed in and after waiting an hour, someone came out and told me I signed the wrong sheet. I then had to wait even longer.
Once taken back, 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment time, the clinician told me I could not take the scan ordered for me because of a previous procedure which I had discussed at length with my original provider who ordered the test, and that I should leave. Complete waste of my time. I’m not sure why I would have been ordered a test which the PA should have known I couldn’t take. Possibly because he was eating his lunch during our last appointment.
This office was stained, had no soap in the bathroom, and when I went to leave the elevator wasn’t working, so I exited through a fire escape stair which ended in a hallway full of trash.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! The front desk staff is rude and incompetent! I’ve been to this location 3 times and each time is a 45 mins to 2 hour wait. Not only that they will mess up your appointment time. The first time they messed was my apt was for 12:00pm. I showed up 11:45. Waited until 1pm to ask when will I been seen by the doctor she told me my apt is for 2pm. I told her that’s incorrect. She insisted I have the wrong time BUT I have the apt card she wrote last time confirming it’s 12pm. She then said I’m next. Had I not asked her she would have just let me sit there until 2pm! Second time she messed up my apt I’m supposed to have a phone call for 12/16 at 3:30pm. I received an email and two text reminding me of the apt. I hopped on the call and waited 45 mins. I called a total of 3 times at the intervals of 15 mins. First two call she insured me doctor will be on shortly. The last call at 45 mins she told me my apt is for 12/17. I got really mad and said I received 3 confirmations for 12/16 and two phone calls earlier she told me to wait. Now she’s saying it’s tomorrow! Then she just hung up on me.

Wish i could put negative stars.
Run away. Use almost any other neurologist in the city for a better experience.
No one should beg or felt like tge dr is doing you a favor when asking for basic care. 2hr visit just to get a referal be able to get an mri AT a diffrent facility. Asking for an mri to ensure that someone gets the appropriate care should not be met with .. oh i have been doing this for yrs i can see he doesnt have a brain injury.
Like come on, if visually it could be confirmed or not, we would not be here asking for the test that the hospital, therapist, psychiatrist nor would an MRI would have been invented to confirm something you could visual confirm.
This is a second visit after rescheduling the first. The first visit was just crazy, incompetent and over heard another patient complain about the incompetency .. and yet i still made an appt hoping the former patient was off that day. THEY WERENT WRONG ....
Don't go here. Not for emergency, not for a regular brain check up ... pick almost anywhere else, even if they have a waitlist ... will still be better than a place that makes you feel like they havent picked up a medical journal in the last 15 yrs.

Update Feb 26 2026. After posting my original review, the office manager from Complete Neurological Care repeatedly called me over the next few months. I eventually answered, assuming they wanted to address my concerns.
It quickly became clear my review had not been read carefully. I had already stated that I received my Botox treatment elsewhere and would not be returning. Despite that, I was placed on hold so they could “see how to get my Botox done,” which made no sense. The call felt more like damage control than patient care.
Instead of addressing the real issue, the multiple co-pays I paid for Botox consultations that never resulted in treatment, the blame was shifted to my insurance. I was told my New Jersey insurance only allows Botox in New Jersey, which does not make sense since I live in New York and have used this insurance with New York providers, including their office, for other services.
When I tried to explain, I was talked over.
If the goal was resolution, accountability and a refund of the Botox-related co-pays would have been appropriate. Instead, it felt performative.
I have since received Botox elsewhere, had a better experience, and will not be returning. I stand by my review.
I hate leaving a negative review for a medical office, but this experience was consistently frustrating and disappointing. I waited months hoping things would improve before finally switching providers.
The quality of care, bedside manner, and communication have gone downhill. I want to acknowledge the NP Shelly or Sheli, she is excellent, caring, attentive, and truly advocates for patients. Unfortunately, the rest of the office experience was terrible.
I was scheduled for Botox treatment for chronic migraines starting in September. I was required to attend a pre Botox screening appointment just for paperwork, I was scheduled for a call at 5 pm when I finally got a hold of the office the girl which answered gave me attitude and nickering with me. They told me the doctor left for the day. I didn't get no call. I had to reschedule. I lost many PTO due to these appointments and the main I have endured with my migraines. I have been receiving Botox for migraines for nine years and have never had to do a pre Botox screening before. I only came here because they accepted my new insurance.
Multiple appointments were canceled because the office claimed they did not receive my medication. I spent weeks going back and forth between the office, my insurance company, and the pharmacy. My insurance covers Botox medically, not through pharmacy benefits, yet the office could not seem to handle this. As a medical practice, I expected them to have medically supplied Botox available.
Phone communication is extremely poor. Calls were repeatedly transferred to the 55th Street location, where no one ever answered. Messages left and website inquiries went unanswered. The front desk and billing staff seemed uninformed and unable to provide clear answers.
My new neurologist requested records from my last visit, including injection details. Despite multiple calls and messages, I never received the information.
I was then told to go to the New Jersey location. When I called, I was asked whether I wanted Botox or to see the doctor first, which was concerning. I was told I would receive a call back and never did. When I followed up, I was told they had run out of Botox and would call me again.
If you are looking for a neurologist, I recommend NY Neurology (Gramercy Location) or another in New Jersey if you live out there (I am keep this hidden due to this being my current provider). This location is amazing. You can message if you won't the location.

Avoid this medical practice — they are completely unprofessional and unhelpful.
My experience here has been nothing but frustration. First, the wait time was long. After I finally saw the doctor, he ordered several tests. One of them had to be done in their office — at least that’s what they told me — and they refused to give me an order to do it elsewhere.
They scheduled the test, only to cancel it later by text with no explanation. When I called, they said they needed pre‑authorization. Almost four months have passed, and despite many calls from me, they still haven’t obtained the authorization or explained why they can’t. At this point, it feels like they simply don’t care enough to help.
I asked again for an order so I could do the test outside their office, and they still wouldn’t provide it. They also received results for two other tests I completed elsewhere, but no one bothered to call me with the results.
To make things worse, when I requested my medical records, they gave me an email address that bounced back. It’s unbelievable how disorganized and indifferent they are.
This practice is unprofessional, unresponsive, and shows no concern for their patients. Save yourself the time and frustration — go somewhere else.
