About this clinic
Firshein Center, an integrative-medicine practice in New York, offers IV therapy and platelet-rich plasma injections as core regenerative modalities for patients pursuing longevity and age-related optimization. The practice, led by Richard Firshein, DO, emphasizes individualized assessment and treatment sequencing tailored to each patient's health status and functional goals. IV protocols support nutrient repletion and systemic recovery, while PRP injections address musculoskeletal and joint concerns through the body's own healing mechanisms. The clinic combines orthobiologic and IV-based approaches within a broader longevity framework, serving patients interested in regenerative strategies alongside conventional integrative care. When no other doctor, or even the whole relevant department at Mt. Sinai Hospital, was able to figure out what the problem was or what to do, and I had only two weeks to continue living physically, Dr. Firshein made the correct diagnosis within minutes of my arriving at his office and immediately prescribed and began to administer treatment that saved my life. He was one of the first to do i.v. therapy of that type and the medical establishment and its arm in the state board tried to give him a hard time about it, but failed. I would not be alive and writing this if I had not found him in 1993, and I remember, during the six weeks I received i.v. therapy for an hour each day in his waiting room, hearing other patients say that he had saved their lives by diagnosing what other doctors had missed, and seeing patients being carried in when they first came to him and soon thereafter walking in on their own, and I remember being in tears wishing that he and his treatments had been in practice when my father, who had died of asthma years before Dr. Firshein would have been old enough to begin medical school, was alive, and I remember the day I arrived for a treatment -- within weeks of the first day I had gone there in a state in which I could just barely walk and was literally gray and had just been scolded by vets for bringing in my dog when I was obviously gravely ill myself -- and heard myself report that I had run up the stairs that morning. He is a genius, I owe him my life, and anyone lucky enough to be his patient is lucky indeed. I can never thank you enough, Dr. Firshein.
