Great experience as a new patient! While my appointment started a little late, Dr Goldenberg was really attentive and thoughtful in discussing my treatment options. She listened well and gave me her full attention and was considerate of treatment costs. I feel confident my acne will get better by working with her. Would recommend.

I decided to book with Dr. Goldberg after experiencing some really bad acne due to birth control. I made the appointment planning to ask to be put on Accutane but Dr. Kristina immediately knew the treatment plan to go with. Three months later my skin is the best it has ever looked in my adult life. Very happy with my results and even though I’ve moved to a different borough I’ll still be traveling to see her.

I recently visited Dr. Gary Goldenberg for a consultation about a skin condition, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. Everything ran on time, and the office was spotless and modern. Dr. Goldenberg was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. He took the time to really listen to my concerns, explain what was going on in clear terms, and discuss all of my treatment options without ever rushing me. I left feeling informed, reassured, and confident that I was in the best possible hands. What really stood out was how genuine and attentive Dr. Goldenberg was. You can tell he truly cares about his patients. I’m already seeing improvement in my skin, and I’m so grateful I found this practice. If you’re looking for a dermatologist who combines expertise with compassion, I highly recommend Dr. Gary Goldenberg and his team. They’ve set a new standard for what great medical care should feel like!

Summary: Excellently treated for acne, but do not recommend this office for financially insecure or first-time dermatology patients. I visited Dr.Kristina Goldenberg for acne, and after two rounds of Accutane, my skin is healed. She is knowledgeable, and I learned a lot about my skin through my visits with her, but that was the only standout positive. Goldenberg Dermatology is understaffed, which is disappointing since Dr.Kristina Goldenberg is very talented. They took a couple of days to get back to me when I emailed about my bloodwork. Additionally, they do not have blood tests at their location, so you will need to pay an extra charge and take extra time out of your schedule to get bloodwork done. The medical assistant said this would happen at any clinic, but since I do bloodwork at my general doctor's office, I know that is not true. Additionally, Accutane required me to have a pregnancy test, which I had to buy at a local pharmacy and give to the doctor because they oddly did not have them. I think if you are treating women with Accutane and require a pregnancy test, the doctor’s office should provide them. Their receptionist, Coral, is often confused and lacks answers about the office, which is frustrating. Lastly, they do not offer payment plans, and Dr.Kristina Goldenberg redirected me to the front desk to inquire about some. She owns the clinic; shouldn’t she know about their payment plan options? Ultimately, I was not a perfect patient either and did not always get my bloodwork completed on time due to financial stress, but this was a pretty confusing office. I have had many medical treatments done in 2025 and only had issues with specialists who overbooked. This was my first time dealing with a dermatologist's office as an adult. If you get through to the office, Dr. Kristina Goldenberg will answer any clarifying questions, and I believe she cares about her patients. I would have appreciated more patience and kindness from the team at Goldenberg demataology, instead of passive aggressiveness. Definitely not my worst doctor's visit, but I would not recommend this office for financially insecure or first-time dermatology patients. Great results, but the extra stress was not needed.

Goldenberg Dermatology is outstanding! Dr. Goldenberg is an incredibly caring and attentive doctor. She always listens patiently and carefully, explains everything in detail, and gives honest, thoughtful, and helpful advice. She goes above and beyond to help, and I always feel that her recommendations are based on genuine care and extensive experience. I feel completely confident in her hands, knowing that she truly wants the best for her patients. Highly recommended!
