I am STILL waiting on my prescription to be filled and not only have I already paid for it, I can't get anyone on the phone to provide any explanation as to why my medication hasn't been sent to me. You have to pay for your visits and medication up front but there's clearly no guarantee that you will ever receive what you pay for. This place feels like a scam and highly advise against using them for KAP therapy.

I’ve been partnered with Journey Clinical for over two years, and after trying many other psychiatrists, medical teams, and psychedelic startups, I finally found a platform where I could integrate my expertise in art therapy with KAP. Thanks to Journey Clinical’s decentralized model, I’ve been able to offer transformative Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) treatments for clients with C-PTSD, depression, and anxiety, combining them with expressive arts therapies. Journey Clinical is a pioneering example of a company helping therapists empower their clients through using their established skills. The platform also offers direct access to medical consultations and a community of psychotherapists practicing KAP, along with ongoing education on essential topics like IFS, group work, couples therapy, and EMDR. Highly recommend!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. When my therapist sent my referral, she specifically stated a medication I was on and asked if it would be a problem and to get back to her. I am on a limited income, and my insurance did not cover the Kap Therapy, so I had to pay out of pocket. It was over a month before I could pay, and in all that time, no one reached out to my therapist to say my medication would be a problem. I paid for my service, had my consult, and five minutes in, Journeys' medical professional made me feel like a POS and totally discriminated against me for the medication I was on. I did plenty of research, and my medication should not have been an issue. But because of the stigma, I was treated unfairly. For about three weeks, I was going back and forth advocating for myself. Journey then set up a 15-minute consult with another medical professional. He was no better. They wanted to verify the dose and mg of my medication, which I showed them on the bottle; for some reason, that wasn't good enough. It was as if I was lying. The medical professional kept giving me excuses as I was providing the information they requested. They wanted to speak to my prescribing doctor to get permission for me to participate in Kap therapy. My prescribing doctor has already stated that this is not their area of expertise and if the doctor feels Kap therapy is medically necessary, then to continue with it.They stated they have nothing to do with journey treating me. JOURNEY KNEW THE MEDICATION I WAS ON, HOW MUCH I TOOK DAILY AND HOW OFTEN. THAT WAS THE NECESSARY INFORMATION FOR THEM TO APPROVE THE KAP THERAPY AND PRESCRIBE THE NECESSARY DOSE. So in the end journey has stunted my ability to heal. Now I Have to participate with another company and be unable to have the experience with my therapist. I have to do it with a stranger, which will not be as beneficial. So, with all this being said, if you take any medication and have a past, research the interaction of your medication and KAP therapy. If the results are positive and there's no interaction with medications, think twice about disclosing. If the medication you are on has a stigma attached, they will treat you as such. The best advice I can give you is to go somewhere else. There are several other places that are less expensive and you get more sessions for your money. I found this out after all of this happened.
