The best care I've received as a chronic pain patient. I traveled from out of state to visit Manhattan Pain Medicine because I could not find knowledgeable doctors in my hometown for my hypermobility, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome symptoms and comorbidities. Let me tell you, it was worth every travel expense. The care was above and beyond. Please do not hesitate to book with this clinic.
First off, the patient care coordinator, Candy, was so helpful with the intake process, and helping me figure out my insurance benefits. She's knowledgeable, polite, and willing to go the extra mile to help - including checking in on you after procedures.
Janelle at the front desk is joyful, and attentive to every patient who walks in. She makes scheduling easy, and was able to help coordinate my appointments around my specific travel needs.
Adam PA was professional, and quick to help. His process is methodical, and he offered me same-day in-office treatments after discussing my options, and the risks. He also sent me over to rheumatology - Jordan PA - without a prior appointment on the SAME DAY. I was on a TWO YEAR waitlist back in Michigan for rheumatology. I was able to talk to Jordan and get a full blood panel done at my first appointment.
100% I recommend Manhattan Pain Medicine, and I will continue to work with them on my complex chronic pain needs.

One of the best experiences, if not the best, I have ever had at the doctor’s office. From the front desk to the nurses to the PA assisting the doctor this was a great experience. Dr.Nino actually listened to me and came up with a game plan. Would recommend this practice to as many people as I could.

After two years of searching and feeling lost and let down, I finally found real help at Manhattan Pain Medicine. With Dr. Siefferman, Adam Rosenberg, Dr. Mikaberidze, and the whole team, I feel heard, supported and understood. Every symptom is being considered and I’m finally getting answers with multiple diagnoses.
What stood out was the mix of warmth and knowledge. They took a careful history, ordered targeted tests, and used working diagnoses that evolved with the results and have created appropriate treatment plans. MPM with Dr. Siefferman gave me hope for a pain-free future and a clear path forward. Adam checks in, explains, and never lets things slip. Dr. Mikaberidze connected dots others missed. The coordination is excellent; I never feel rushed, and I always feel seen.
If you’ve been searching without answers, go to Manhattan Pain Medicine. Their approach and care are truly one of a kind… best I’ve found in the city with no exceptions.

This may be an experience unique to me because there are so many glowing reviews, but I don’t know how else to get the attention of the practice so this is a last ditch attempt.
I’m an existing patient, and I had a few appointments with Dr. Nino that were great and super helpful. I felt like I finally had a plan for rheumatology care. I had initially gone in to see Dr. Kane, but he encouraged that I see Dr. Nino before trying to explore any of that therapies he offers. Which I appreciated.
My current dilemma is around office communication. The last time they were responsive were while going through a prior authorization process a few months ago. It was suggested that I come in for some samples which I did. I appreciated how much they were willing to support admit the administrative snags. But since I have needed a refill of a different medication, I have not been able to reach anyone. Neither has my pharmacy. They faxed stuff (I think), and I had been calling and emailing. But after leaving multiple voicemails and sending emails without a call back/reply, I still don’t have a refill. Even if they would want me to come in because it has been awhile since my last appointment, I can’t schedule an appointment because I’m not in touch with anyone! It’s truly bizarre, and I don’t know if my care has been terminated for some reason and I just don’t know it or what. But not having a refill and then subsequently facing this delay and gap in community location has affected my treatment. I even wanted to try sending a fax myself but l can’t find a fax number. So I am at a loss.
It’s also confusing because I was supposed to start a new biologic in the midst of this (what the prior auth was for), and we lost contact. I don’t know that this was intentional by any means, but I have zero information. It has felt like a very different experience from what I initially felt starting at the office and going to my first few appointments. There’s a ton of patients, and I wouldn’t expect them to always anticipate things for me as I have v patient responsibilities to keep my provider updated as well. However, I had been doing my due diligence in reaching out and did not get anywhere. It has been at least 2.5 months since I needed the refill.
My ask to the practice: If I am still considered under your care, please email or call me so we can connect. I get emails about the pain support groups, so I know I’m in the system somehow. If this is a personal case where I can no longer receive care from you all, I just want to now that. And receive my medical records. I hope you understand that I’m posting this in good faith. I’ve seen a response to a low review in the past, so I’m hoping someone will at least see this and consider assisting. Thank you.

I have very unique & severe nerve pain from CRPS which has no known specific cure. Dr. Siefferman has a huge tool box, far greater than the other 23 Drs. I have seen. He saved me from jumping off a bridge and continues to help me with both treatments and advice. Dr. S. is in a different league!
