Quiet Mind Therapy Services LCSW

I was interested in a group session but since it was my first time doing something like that I wanted to see how the first session would go to see if it was a good fit for me. Especially since I would be paying out of pocket. Without asking me, Emily H sent me an email 2 days before the first appointment to say she charged my card for a full month of services.I never agreed to that. during the consultation with the therapist I was told that Emily would reach out and I would be able to tell her how I wanted the payments to be set up. I received zero communication from Emily or anyone from the office about this. It seems like all they care about is money. I would stay away from this practice.

Onboarding process is very smooth! Emily Heider is very pleasant to work with and helped me get set up surprisingly quickly. QMTS offers an array of services and it makes the whole process seem very comfortable and tailored to each individual. First meetings in therapy can feel uncomfortable but this did not at all. I’ve had no issues with billing as I see mentioned in some other reviews. I would definitely feel comfortable recommending friends/family here. Nothing but great things to say about Elizabeth and the rest of the staff, would give 50 stars if I could.

This practice has got me through my toughest times and trauma. It has taught me exercises to use when faced with struggle. I am never alone, Erin is just a phone call away. I am a survivor of mental, emotional and physical abuse from a horrific childhood. I’m grateful to Erin and the time I have spent with her. As I move forward, I feel confident that I’m going to succeed in my happiness & my life. I bonded with her instantly. She’s an amazing person and in my opinion, the very best therapist anywhere.
