About this clinic

Active Health Physical Therapy, a regenerative physical medicine clinic in Broadview Heights, Ohio, offers shockwave therapy alongside dry needling and conventional physical-therapy rehabilitation. The clinic specializes in musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, and soft-tissue conditions, using extracorporeal shockwave to stimulate tissue repair and reduce inflammation in cases where traditional therapy alone may be insufficient. Hormone replacement therapy is available as an adjunctive service for patients whose recovery or functional capacity is limited by hormonal imbalance. Treatment plans are individualized following an initial evaluation, and care is framed within a pathway toward functional restoration rather than symptom management

I can’t say enough good things about Active Health Physical Therapy —especially Nikki and her team. I went from extremely active (regular long-distance running and training) to waking up one day in the worst pain of my life—barely able to walk or sleep. After being diagnosed with degenerative disc disease at C6–C7, I was honestly scared I wouldn’t get back to normal. Nikki brought immediate calm and confidence, along with a clear plan. From there, they guided me step-by-step: we started with gentle stretches and band work, then progressed into strengthening with weights and machines as I improved. They also used the right tools at the right time (dry needling, e-stim, and the 360 core strengthening machine) to reduce pain, improve mobility, and rebuild stability without flaring symptoms. What stood out most was how personalized everything felt—they explained the “why,” adjusted the plan based on how I was responding, and gave me a home routine I could actually stick with. The results were real: pain dropped, sleep improved, mobility came back, and I regained the strength and confidence to return to training. If you want PT that’s thorough, evidence-based, and genuinely cares about getting you better, this is the place.

Nikki and her team are outstanding. NOMS Active Health provided first class Physical Therapy that was a critical component in my ruptured disk recovery. They are knowledgeable, professional, and truly care about your progress. The facility is spotless and well equipped, and their hours of operation met my busy schedule. Highly recommend!

When I first came to Active Health Physical Therapy, I wasn't even that sure I needed it. Now that I am a few months out of it, I realized how much it has helped. I had lingering pain in my knee and by coming here and doing the given exercises consistently, it went away. The staff all know what they are doing and are all super nice. I was always welcomed when I came into the building and felt comfortable inside. Everything about Active Health Physical Therapy was amazing! Highly recommend.
