Dr. Shannon has helped me restore my gut health and address the root cause of multiple issues I’ve dealt with over the last year and a half. I have never felt more listened to by a provider, and I truly appreciate the holistic approach! If you are tired of being dismissed by doctors and bounced around to specialists without real answers, call Natural Paths to Wellness. It will be a breath of fresh air!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Ashlyn Zikmund at Natural Paths to Wellness. From the very first appointment, she has been incredibly empathetic, understanding, supportive, kind, and deeply knowledgeable. Unlike the many, many traditional doctors who have told me more times than I can count, “no, that likely won’t be possible for you,” Dr. Zikmund offers a completely different experience—one filled with hope, empowerment, and actionable plans. Her approach is both compassionate and science-based, and she always takes the time to truly listen and understand my concerns. She is also incredibly well connected in spaces in which she might not have the direct answer, consulting the appropriate resources where needed. She has quickly become the most trusted and crucial member of my care team. With her help, I finally feel in control of my chronic health issues—something I honestly never thought was possible. What stands out most is her unwavering belief in the body’s ability to heal and her ability to chart a clear, personalized path forward. With every “yes, I think that could be possible for you —and here’s how I think we can get there,” she’s helped me feel seen, heard, and optimistic about my health journey in a way I never have before. I’m so grateful to have her in my corner. I also want to commend the front desk staff at Natural Paths to Wellness. Every interaction I’ve had with them has been marked by kindness, responsiveness, patience, and timeliness. They make scheduling, paperwork, and follow-ups feel seamless and stress-free, which makes such a difference when managing ongoing care. This practice is a rare gem—I feel incredibly lucky to have found them. If you are even considering going this route for additional and alternative approaches to your healthcare, just go for it. You won't regret it; out of the many, many choices in life, it's been the best one I could have ever made.

The new office is very tranquil. They offer a holistic approach to wellness, supporting the body systems so they work properly. They work to get to the root cause of issues, actively listening to patients as well as taking the time to explain the inner workings of the body. If you want to use your FSA funds to pay for the visit you may need to get a Letter of Medical Necessity form from your FSA manager and have it signed by your doctor. It will be good for 1 year and then you need a new one signed.
