About this clinic

Charleston Women's Wellness Center, a hormone optimization and regenerative-medicine clinic in Charleston, specializes in hormone-replacement therapy and peptide protocols tailored to women's health needs. The practice offers individualized hormone assessment and optimization following comprehensive lab work, with treatment adjusted over time to support hormonal balance across midlife transitions and age-related decline. Peptide therapy complements hormone protocols to address energy, metabolism, and tissue support. The clinic integrates massage therapy as part of a broader supportive-care approach. Care is positioned within an evidence-based framework that emphasizes hormonal and systemic health rather than symptom management alone.

This was my first initial visit to see Dr. Orr and I am well pleased. The office is nice and clean. She is an amazing doctor with a wonderful and welcoming approach. She made me feel at home and so comfortable. Kudos to her and her amazing staff! I'm happy!

I have been a patient at Charleston Women's Wellness Center for almost 15 years and have always received the best of care. Dr. Orr, Mrs. Karen, and the rest of the staff are not only highly experienced and professional but also immensly kind and compassionate.

I really was so hopeful that I found a Dr to help with my hormones. 1st I will say the front office staff are extremely nice. Went for my appt and met with Dr. Orr . I discussed with her Biote pellet because that was recommend by a hormone specialist- Dr. Orr agreed and discussed the pellet and how long she has been doing them for. She was very helpful explaining where my levels should be and how to get there! I was super excited because I was hopefully finally going to feel better! Week 1 - Pellet inserted - A-little skin reaction and I immediately felt results the first week! Week 4 - I can feel Ill need the booster , I am feeling it wear off. I go in for my follow up , did not see Dr. Orr and saw her medical assistant ( not a nurse) who could not answer any questions I had, was writing on a post it note 😫 Week 5- End up getting booster by Dr Orr and advise of some breast tenderness- Dr Orr advised me to grab a “DIM” on my way out that will help. Long story short after a severe allergic reaction(skin rash , hives from scalp to thighs)to her version of DIM( $1800 later at allergy office) - Dr Orr is not a Biote certified provider- It was not the Biote pellet or Biote DIM. I reached to the office, the same lady writing her post it notes was on the other line a week later! I could not believe it. I went to a new Dr- who specializes in Biote and NOT ONE ISSUE! I even requested in writing via the portal to have my records transferred and still nothing. ONLY reason I am writing this because as a women and having all the menopausal issues- we need to be safe and KNOW what is being put in our bodies.
