Deciding to change my pain management from Ortho SC in Myrtle Beach to Dr. Nobles at Southeastern Spine Institute was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I drive two hours each way for my appointments but it is worth it. Dr. Nobles is friendly, warm and a good listener. He immediately puts you at ease. After listening, examining and studying my images, we came up with a plan to help me manage my pain. In addition, I had lumbar fusion surgery with one of the surgeons at Southeastern Spine. The surgery ended up being extremely successful, but I had to be rehospitalized after several days at home because of intractable pain. Surgeons generally treat most postoperative patients the same and those that have been in pain management for years may need a different plan with medication. Dr. Nobles was there when I was readmitted and came up with an individualized plan that worked for me. I was not released from the hospital until it was clear that my pain was under control. Once released, we had regular check-ins through telehealth and phone calls making sure that I was doing OK. Because of his extraordinary care, my recovery was successful from then on and I am doing so much better. The care at Southeastern Spine Institute has given me my life back and I am so appreciative.

I have always liked Dr Knobles as my pain dr. He does listen snd understands our pain. However due to the restraints of the CDC and the current takeover by Novant he is being restricted to help his patients with the medication they need through no fault of those of us that take the medication properly. I and others wish we were not being labeled as opioid addicts, when in fact the opiod medication enables us to enjoy life by being able to walk, play with grandchildren, walk our furry children et cetera bc the medication keeps the pain within limits that we can handle verses no pain relief at all.

Dr Noble is friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and professional. His assistant was very nice and helpful as well. I am looking forward to working with him in treating my pain issues.
