Had a bad experience here. People behind the desk was great, nurses was great ect. Was brought in a week after incident happened. With a nondisplaced fracture and ligament damage. Was put straight back to “full duty” at work first visit. Continued to go to numerous appointments over the next 8-9 months. My employer called him and convinced him to send me to send me to physical therapy because they saw me struggling to work daily. The physical therapist flat out said she couldn’t fix it I needed surgery. Every appointment I complained of pain causing me to not be able to sleep most nights. Having pain rushing from my wrist all the way up my arm. And the only response I got was to “live with it” and x surgery would fix it but the risk is to high for him. I said repeatedly I have pain in x location which wasn’t where he found the damaged ligament and he told me nothing was wrong. I was working full duty at work but my grip strength was so weak I was unable to hold 20-30lbs or open a tight door with that arm. I have another job in army reserve this injury also made it physically impossible to do my physical fitness test due to my grip strength being gone. The doctor refused to do any type of military paperwork and would put nothing on paper but “full duty”. When you have Workmans comp. They choose your doctor and when this is your only option for medical care, you can’t use your own insurance for it and to receive this kind of treatment and care it’s really sad. After jumping through hoops to find another doctor at musc. It took him 2 weeks to find out what the issue was “it was another ligament exactly where I told him I was having pain” I was misdiagnosed at palmetto bone and joint, and ignored by the doctor I had. I don’t even think I have to name the doctor I had because every medical review page I see online has him between 2-3 star rating. Multiple other reviews have had a lot of the same issues I had per reviews, not listening to patients, telling them nothing is wrong when they have pain ect. I’m Sure a lot of the other doctors are outstanding here and the lady’s behind the desk was great.

Took my mom who’s 83 today to discuss knee replacement with Jiffy knee. Drove 3 plus hours to appt- worth every minute. It’s shameful more orthos aren’t offering this less invasive/ traumatic knee replacement. Thank you for an option like this!
