I love Liz, Sarah and Dr. Mauras. They are so kind and knowledgeable and the atmosphere in the office is positive and upbeat. They have gotten my menopausal symptoms under control and I finally feel like myself again. They respond promptly to any questions or needs I send their way. This is the place to go for any hormone issues, female or male, or if you need peptides! My husband loves coming here too.

Liz and the team at BioVitality are by far the absolute BEST in the entire Austin area! I came in for a B12 shot, and was in and out less than 10 minutes later. BioVitality has the most clean and hygienic facilities I’ve encountered anywhere in the United States; and I travel frequently, almost always getting a B12 wherever I go.
BioVitality will be my forever go-to spot for a B12 shot, every time I’m in town.
Thank you for a wonderful experience!

It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this good, both physically and mentally. My energy is back, my confidence is up, and I finally feel like I’m getting back to being me again. The staff are professional but also warm and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience comfortable.

Wonderful locally owned clinic! They were very quick to respond and set up my appointment times. My initial meeting was the most thorough review of my lab work, health goals, and follow up plan. The office is a lovely atmosphere and I always feel welcomed and never rushed. I have continued to have a great experience since attending my first appointment. Biovitality is the excellence of healthcare!

Let me start by saying, I have never written a negative review before in my life, but BioVitality has left me no choice. I was so badly mismanaged that I feel obligated to warn others—especially those in a vulnerable state seeking medical care.
I deeply regret ever signing up. I paid a $997 enrollment fee expecting competent care. Instead, I got negligence, poor communication, and a total disregard for patient well-being.
Dangerous Medical Mistakes
From the start, they made serious errors. They prescribed me a new thyroid medication based on outdated lab results from nine months prior, then ran new labs—only to find my levels were completely different. Instead of fixing their mistake, they made an even bigger one: prescribing a drastically lower dose than I had ever taken.
Why? Because my provider FORGOT I was already on thyroid medication. We had discussed it in detail. She had my medical history in front of her. And yet, she still made a dangerous dosing error.
Because she forgot about this, she ordered an unnecessary thyroid ultrasound. Despite my 20-year history of hypothyroidism, she ordered it anyway. When I finally got the results (after chasing her down myself because she never called me), my provider acted surprised to learn I even had hypothyroidism. She admitted she wouldn’t have ordered the test if she had remembered—but when I asked for reimbursement, she refused.
Terrible Communication
Getting answers from them was painfully slow. Multiple times, I waited six days or more for a response to simple medication questions. Most of the time, I had to follow up more than once just to get a basic reply. For a clinic charging nearly $1,000 just to be a patient, this is completely unacceptable.
Refund Bribe & Retaliation
After all these failures, I lost faith in their ability to manage my care and requested a refund. I outlined their mistakes in detail. They admitted fault and **agreed to refund me—**but only if I didn’t write a negative review. That alone tells you everything you need to know about this place.
At first, I agreed and absolutely didn't intend to. But then they did something even worse.
Because of their incompetence, I had to find a new provider. There was a waitlist, so I asked for a short-term refill of the hormone therapy they originally prescribed me—just to hold me over until I could get care elsewhere.
They refused.
Let’s be clear: I wouldn’t be in this position if they hadn’t completely botched my care. Their refusal wasn’t about patient safety. It was about punishing me for leaving.
My agreement not to write a negative review was when I believed they were trying to right a wrong by refunding my enrollment fee. However, now I know that BioVitality doesn’t care about its patients. They care about locking you into an expensive enrollment fee and then leaving you to fend for yourself. If you value your health, go somewhere else!
