This took me a lot of time to pray about and internalize before I am going forth with this review. Everyone talks a good game and is there for you as long as you have the money to keep taking more treatments or add ons. I took a $5,000 treatment, when I told them my financial situation wasn’t good, but why did I do that? Because I was told it helped someone with Rheumatoid Arthritis the year before. I was told that their pain went away. I believed that, because I thought I was in the right place, by believers…and why would I think that? Because God was mentioned to me over and over again…and the music. It let me put my guard down into trusting these people. I remember when my Care Credit was approved and they knew I was taking the treatment, I saw with my own eyes the high five and the excitement in their eyes that they found a sucker. Someone who was desperate to be able to have a functional life. If you have money to throw away, these are your people. I had to have a referral to them by my PCP and when I told him where, he said I hope you have a lot of time and money. I trusted you all, and there was no pity or mercy, but I sure did get all those vote for the Dr’s baby text messages. I get it, this is a “business”…but don’t lie to people, making them believe that it’s more than that.

I was referred to Quality of Life Medical Center (QoLMC) by a colleague, and I am so grateful I finally made the appointment. As an active individual—a band director, regular yoga practitioner, and frequent massage recipient—I reached a point where persistent, significant back pain stubbornly remained despite all my restorative efforts. I knew it was time to see a specialist.
From the moment you walk into the centrally located office by 1488 and Honea Egypt Rd., the experience is exceptional. The entire staff is not only friendly but genuinely welcoming. I must stress: if you are looking for a quick, transactional adjustment like you might find at places like The Joint, this is absolutely not it (in the best way possible).
My experience at QoL has been high-quality from start to finish. The initial intake was comprehensive: I met with Sandy, a double board-certified Doctor of Nursing, who performed a thorough assessment of my mobility and overall health. This was followed by X-rays and my first adjustment. During the second session, Dr. Marshall clearly presented my X-rays, comparing them to a healthy spine, and we discussed a holistic plan to achieve lasting wellness.
My ongoing treatment plan is customized and integrated, including working with a PT assistant to strengthen weak muscles contributing to my pain, alongside regular decompression therapy and chiropractic adjustments. The physical results have been astounding. I feel lightyears better than when I started; I am sleeping better and can now stand for long periods of time without pain.
The greatest impact, however, has been Dr. Marshall herself. She is a purpose-driven physician who genuinely cares about helping people feel better. She is incredibly intelligent and deeply kind, working tirelessly to meet people where they are and provide the highest level of care. That kindness and compassion radiate out to every single employee in the office. I also absolutely love that the practice is women-owned and 90% women-employed—so badass!!!!!!!!
QoL is a special place run by people who are in this profession for all the right reasons. In a world that often feels transactional, QoL feels like a genuine haven of help. I recommend them to everyone I know. In fact, my own Mom, who lives in Boston, is planning to schedule a few visits with Dr. Marshall when she flies down for Easter. You could not ask for a higher level of compassionate, effective care.

My wife went there It was OK in the beginning. They will put you in a heel lift even if you have a functional short leg then they have Their little KIOSK custom orthotic machine where you can get cheaply made orthotics that will hurt your feet and do nothing for uneven pressure points those orthotics are a scam they are not custom made they are all the same just different sizes You will be better off buying a good pair of sneakers if you’re gonna get orthotics, go to a podiatrist and get them molded to your foot even the foam molding is better than What quality life Chiropractor, provides. What a scam . I don’t wanna put them down too much but when I went not a good experience, Dr. Marshall is way too rough and very hyper. She doesn’t listen just does her own thing & very pushy to sell you something $$ . I really like to get an adjustment every now and then and I know it’s a business. It just doesn’t feel genuine.. I wish the practice well & hope the best for their patients . There staff is very nice. But I have moved on from that racket . )

I have a pickleball tournament and a trip to Greece in less than a week. Started having some pretty severe hip pain last weekend. Saw Dr Marshall on Monday and again today and feel so much better already. Chose peptide shots today as well, and am feeling confident that I will be able to both play in my tournament on Saturday and enjoy my trip to Greece free of pain! Really love the staff at Quality of Life MC. So warm, welcoming and competent.
