Shaw Pain Clinic

I have been to several pain management clinics and was honestly scared about starting new with Dr Shaw. However, for the first time in 20 years since my initial injury I am almost PAIN FREE! I was beyond impressed with Dr Shaw when I first met him because I don’t believe in throwing narcotics at it and have had significant milestones with things like red light therapy, staying away from inflammatory foods (diet), mild exercise, etc. Dr Shaw’s staff had been accommodating, comforting, and supportive throughout my treatments and interactions with them. He even sent me for a sleep study and we discovered why I haven’t had a good nights sleep in years. I won’t mention names but my previous pain management doctors were more like clowns in a circus, parrots for “just take a stimulator”, and once I was even berated because my injection was more complicated than he expected so it was totally my fault I made him late for the rest of their day. Dr Shaw is a good, natural medicine promoting, Christian, and has improved my pain and life in several ways in just a little while of being his patient! My only regret is not finding him sooner!!! I will sing his praises for years to come!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Shaw for over 10 years and am very satisfied with the care he has provided. We finally decided that I was a candidate for Spinal Cord Stimulator and his staff has been extremely aggressive getting me this treatment. I was within a half hour of surgery and the surgeon decided he could not do the procedure because of an ongoing blood platelet problem. They have gone far beyond the normal in trying to get me into this device. They got me in to Texas Oncology to look into the blood problem and come up with an answer. I am going today to see the surgeon who has agreed to perform the surgery. Thanks to Christina and Chris as well as all the other staff that has been involved in this journey for me. After my surgery next Tuesday, I will report on my success! Thanks Dr. Shaw for all you have done getting me to this point.

I have been a patient of Dr. J. Shaw for over 15 years. I travel for almost 2 hours one way to see Dr. Shaw. He and his staff are worth the travel. I pass several pain management doctors’ offices between my home and Shaw Pain Clinic and not once have I ever considered transferring my care. Everyone at Shaw Pain Clinic make me feel like family. I highly recommend this practice to meet all your pain management needs.
