About this clinic

North Central Texas Foot and Ankle, a regenerative-medicine clinic in Roanoke, specializes in orthobiologic treatments for foot and ankle conditions. The practice offers platelet-rich plasma therapy and prolotherapy injections alongside stem-cell therapy for musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain affecting the lower extremities. These regenerative modalities aim to support tissue repair and reduce inflammation rather than relying solely on symptom management or surgical intervention. Treatment plans are individualized following an initial evaluation, and the clinic serves patients with acute injuries, tendinopathy, arthritis, and age-related degeneration. The practice maintains a second location in Decatur and accepts new patients.

Very disappointed in this office. I got a custom orthodic and it did not fit correctly. They said they would get a new one made. However I have to pay to have the Dr fee to re- cast another one and another $170 office visit charge when it comes. Why should I pay more for mess up from one of their vendors. I asked if the office visit could be waived or I could forgo the apt and office manager Kim said no. So I have to pay more when a vendor they selected makes a product wrong. This is not right.

We had a frustrating experience with Dr. Ricky Childers and his office. Dr Childers mixed up my husband’s medical records with another patient, leading to an MRI company contacting us to schedule an appointment that was never recommended. Now, we're receiving bills for treatments he didn’t receive, and our card number is linked to these charges. Despite leaving multiple messages for their billing and management teams, we haven't received any callbacks to address these issues for over a week now.

My daughter saw Dr Childers this week and he is fantastic. He was so patient and kind. She was nervous about getting her ingrown toenail removed and he made her feel at ease. The office is well run, timely and professional.
