I am so angry right now! Ketamine is not for everyone and needs to be administered very carefully and only after careful vetting of the client. I have a close friend/family member who was given an extra dose of ketamine (very irresponsible and dangerous, in my opinion!) after the initial dose because the clinician didn't think they were responding right. This resulted in a K-hole experience (look it up!) and my friend/family member spent the last month in a dissociative state! We had to keep a close watch on them at all times to make sure they didn't self harm, which is completely out of character for them! They had to take time off of work because they couldn't function, leaving their spouse to act essentially as a single parent. Their kids are struggling because they have missed their parent. Do not take ketamine if you have PTSD and are prone to dissociative disorders! User beware!

The staff at Riverwoods is amazing. I’ve been meeting with Dr. Trish and Josh and they have changed my life. I had already visited with multiple counselors prior, but nothing helped. However, on my first visit to Riverwoods, Dr. Trish understood completely and knew exactly what to do. The Ketmine treatments combined with counseling have made all the difference. I highly recommend them to anyone!
