Dr. Ian Strand is truly exceptional. From the very first visit, he took the time to listen carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and made me feel genuinely heard and respected. He explains things clearly and thoroughly, never rushing, and makes sure you understand both the “why” and the “what” behind your care. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thoughtful in his approach. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines medical expertise with a kind, calming, and attentive manner. I am extremely grateful to be under Dr. Strand’s care and would (and have) recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a physician who truly listens and goes above and beyond.

Dr Strand of Asymmetric health is literally one of a kind. I'm 75 years old and have some medical challenges and consequently I have dozens of doctors in my life. I really don’t write reviews, but this one deserves it. I’ve been working with Dr. Strand for about four months now, and the results have drastically steered my life in a positive direction. After medically retiring from the military, I was dealing with a long list of medical issues. I started this journey at 265 lbs and soon discovered even more underlying problems I had no clue about hormonal imbalances, pre-diabetes, and other related concerns. Coming from a mixed Polynesian/Asian background, being naturally bulky and “fit-looking” always felt normal. I’ve played semi-pro football, was always top of the pack in PT, and stayed active, but something still felt off, even when I was lean and strong. Post-deployment injuries and surgeries made recovery even harder. Under Dr. Strand’s care, I finally found answers. Four months later, I’ve dropped over 30 lbs and, more importantly, feel like I’m genuinely on the right trajectory. My wife was inspired by my progress and joined the program herself, with a focus on wellness and fertility. My goal isn’t just weight loss, it’s overall health. Don’t give me that “mind over matter” cliché. Sometimes, you simply can’t fix what you don’t understand. Yes, the treatment is an investment, but his approach is about helping your body reset, recover, and eventually sustain itself, without long-term dependency on medication.
