Really this practice deserves 0 stars! I had a very frustrating experience at this office. I was scheduled for hormone pellets at 8:45, yet by 9:30 I was told there were no pellets available. Olivia, the office manager, stated she “thought” they would arrive at 10:00 a.m.—but if that were the case, I should never have been scheduled at 8:45. When I expressed my frustration to her directly, she rolled her eyes dismissively. On top of that, Rosemary at the front desk was extremely rude. Olivia assured me, she would call me before 1 to re schedule me for the pellets. I offered to bring my own pallets. No phone call. I also asked to speak with Dr. Altenberg, but he did not have the courtesy to meet with me—even though we are colleagues. The lack of professionalism, poor scheduling practices, and disrespectful treatment I received are unacceptable. Patients deserve better communication and respect than what I experienced here.

My brother had a liposuction procedure (5 liters) with Dr. Leo Altenberg and he did a Terrible job. He left my brother uneven, he did not see my brother for his weekly follow ups until three months later. Dr. Leo Altenberg over promised and underdelivered. This was a disservice to his patient. Now my brother is paying for other treatments to help him with the sloppy work that was done by Leo Altenberg. Men be careful and do your homework before getting/doing anything done with this man.

I called for a same day appointment and got it. The doctor and the staff are great! I am switching my primary doctor to continue seeing Dr Alt. He is awesome got my procedure done and was taken care of. I highly recommend this clinic.

My husband scheduled an appointment for a general check-up, but he didn’t feel comfortable with the doctor checking his testicles and made it known to the doctor. The doctor responded in a rude and arrogant manner, insulting him and telling him that he was the one in charge and that he was a spoiled child who needed his mom, just to name a few things, as the insults were more extensive. He is someone I believe should not be practicing due to the way he treated his patient, with zero respect

Dr. Altenberg is my new primary care doctor. I switched because with my old primary care doctor, I saw PA’s for 2 years. My wait in the waiting room and the examine room was short. He took his time to understand my issues and asked probing questions to better determine what next steps should be. He did not immediately prescribe unnecessary pills. Rather he is doing extensive blood work and muscosketal X-rays. He also wants to know specifically what existing conditions I have and what my parents died of which will also help him. His office staff have been very helpful on the phone and in the office. I highly recommend Dr. Altenberg and his great staff.
