Grady Hospital Emergency Room

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. This hospital is completely disorganized and unprofessional. I arrived at 11:00 AM and it is now 7:56 PM, and I still have not been given a room. I’ve been left in a hallway with around 13 other patients, placed on a hospital bed with a fall risk bracelet, and ignored for hours.I came here to be admitted for seizures, coughing up blood, and severe chest pain, yet no one has provided any real care. Nurses are walking around on their phones, paying little to no attention to their patients. Despite being labeled a fall risk, I had to get up and take myself to the bathroom.They took my blood and urine samples early in the day and left them sitting on the back of my bed, only to come back hours later asking me to redo both tests. That is unacceptable. They also failed to explain what they were testing for and ignored me when I told them it wasn’t relevant to why I came in.There has been no communication, no pain management, and no basic patient care. The nurses barely check on anyone, and it’s clear that many of them are not doing their jobs. This level of neglect and unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable for a medical facility.

This is by far the most unprofessional hospital with the most incompetent front desk staff I've seen in my life. Good luck getting access to treatment right away if your health is in critical condition.They have no coordination whatsoever when it comes to communication. They pick and choose which patients to prioritize on a personal level not professional. Go there at your own risk. The staff there just goes with the motions and do not take their jobs seriously at all. They also tell blatant lies in their clinical notes visit summaries about you to cover up their ridiculous fallacies if you report them. If you have a primary care doctor that requests for specific care for you there. They will ignore,overlook,undermine and second guess anything & everything your doctor tells them to do & literally do whatever they feel like it. It's amazing to me these people get away with this. This place makes basic urgent care centers look like the better option for higher quality care. This place is a disgrace to healthcare in general. You will get a vibe here that all the hired front desk staff got their jobs for simply knowing the right people not caring for their lack of qualifications.

Everything and everyone was excellent but dotor Kim was pushy 100%, did not leave room for me to give a full answer, when he figured out in his mis mind what he needed from from the answer I was giving him. He interrupted me and told me " Yeah yeah go sit back in there " That was his precise answer. When this occurred he was cleaning one of the computers with a send the wipe. I can imagine how busy he is everyday and shift but at that time he has time to stop cleaning the computer for 2. 3 seconds and make eye contact, to hear me out on what i was trying to ask him. His people skills need improvement. I am preaching to choir
