About this clinic
True North Healing Center, a Ketamine Therapy Clinic in Manchester, specializes in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for trauma-related conditions, including PTSD and treatment-resistant depression. The practice combines ketamine infusions with structured psychotherapeutic support, positioning the modality within a clinical framework rather than as a standalone pharmaceutical intervention. Patients work with trained clinicians to process trauma responses during and after ketamine sessions, with the goal of reducing symptom severity and supporting psychological integration. The clinic focuses on individuals whose symptoms have not responded adequately to conventional psychotherapy or medication alone. Treatment plans are individualized following an initial assessment, and ongoing monitoring supports therapeutic progress throughout the course of care.
The therapist was kind however our experience with this office left things to be desired. Including an email about unpaid balances when they auto deduct our payments from our debit card and have never had a denial. This email comes as there are charges pending. Funny this came after we notified the therapist we are no longer interested in continuing with this office. I heard negatives about it here and I can see why. I have 2 people in my circle who had issues with the billing practices here. I also find it funny it comes in Friday before the weekend when no one can answer the phones as they stop taking calls at 1 on Friday's. I say good luck if you need therapy but I, personally, would keep looking.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at True North. The atmosphere is very relaxing, calming and inviting. The therapists are genuine and empathetic. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

I was really anxious before my first appointment but the waiting room calmed me down a lot. I was able to make myself a coffee and collect my nerves before meeting my therapist. Even with the sounds and smells you can tell they put a lot of effort into making the space feel safe and relaxing!

I have been Kayla's client for the better part of a year now, and she is fantastic. If I could take her to another practice, I would. She has been a huge support for me. However, the cancellation policy at True North Healing Center is beyond rigid. I experienced a death in my family very tragically, and I was recently admitted to the hospital for over a week. Despite reporting these unexpected circumstances to True North Healing Center, they initially offered no flexibility and charged me the $99 fee for not giving a 48-hour notice to cancel these appointments. Over $300 was charged to me for life circumstances I had absolutely no control over.
However, the director of operations, Alex, reached out to me and offered a very appropriate solution to my concerns. He reimbursed all of my charged cancellations. Alex was very kind, and I could tell he has great empathy. I appreciate the effort to make things right, and I am unsure at this time what I would like to do about my future mental health needs.

Good providers, terrible policies that become barriers for clients/patients in their healing journey. This rating does not reflect the providers I had the privilege of working with and the healing that I was able to accomplish in that time. It is specifically in response to the rigid policies of True North that tie their therapists' hands behind the back when it comes to appropriately supporting their clients. As other have noted, the cancellation policy is super strict. There is flexibility if a therapist is sick and unable to make an appointment, but not much flexibility on the other end if a patient is sick or has emergent circumstances.
Leave of Absence Mess: When my therapist supported me taking a leave of absence from work after my mom died in a fire that burned down my childhood home, the practice's policies confused the situation for both me and my therapist. The supervisor ultimately told my therapist (Liza) that she couldn't support me by completing the necessary FMLA leave of absence paperwork because it went against their policy. This is after I was originally told Liza could complete the paperwork, I would just need to pay for her time to do so and I expressed being willing to pay. Liza was the primary medical professional providing care for me during this time and the paperwork is intended to be completed by the professional providing treatment, not a PCP who is not involved and out of the loop. This is a backwards policy that creates more barriers for people when they are most in need of help.
