I had low back surgery 5 years ago and about 6 months ago the pain returned on the exact same side (right). I am determined not to have surgery again, so I started researching alternatives. During my search, I came across a technology called Softwave therapy. The closest I could find was in Fayetteville, NC. I did not want to drive to Fayetteville, so I kept researching and a month later Florence Myofascial Release and Physical Therapy popped up. I contacted Sandra and immediately made an appointment. I completed my 5th session on Friday 10/3/25. I am so grateful God allowed me to find Sandra. Before Sandra, I could not sit or stand for long periods of time. The sciatic pain was so severe, I could not bend over. I got little sleep due to the pain. Driving short distance was torture and long distance was out of the question. I could barely put my socks and shoes on. Thank God for Skechers slip ins. Since Shockwave therapy I can truly say that driving is no issue, I can bend over and put my own socks/shoes on, I am sleeping better and most importantly I am in no more pain. I have a high pain tolerance and would live in chronic pain, but this procedure has been a blessing. Again, I thank God for Sandra. Do not hesitate to schedule an appointment with her. We don't have to live in pain when there is a solution. Of course, everyone's pain is individual and unique, but why settle when there is help. There is no guarantee your pain will be eliminated completely but if it can be reduced who would not want that. No, it is not covered by insurance, and I could not schedule every week as suggested so I did what worked for me and that is to make appointments biweekly, which I could afford, and the procedure still worked. I started seeing Sandra for post partum treatment. She has helped reduce my back pain. I'm still working through the issues but have definitely seen improvement.
