After experiencing headaches and migraines for so long, I went to Foothills Neurology and quickly found relief. The staff is very kind and thorough and you can tell they truly want to help you find relief. After creating a treatment plan with the doctor, my headaches and migraines have gone down significantly! It’s been life changing. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for relief.

As a business owner I was shocked by the lack of customer service of the office personnel that check you in for appointments and coordinate your care at the Phoenix Headache Institute. They were very rude, uncaring, cold and unempathetic. They also ignored a request for the release of medical records which seems to be a violation of HIPAA. I am greatly disappointed by the way they treated my family. Shockingly they seem to have no concern or care for the treatment of migraines. They happily take your money but don’t really care about your wellness. I suppose their true customers are insurance companies not patients, I hope they treat them better than they treated my family.

I have been suffering from headaches and migraines for years and didn’t have any hope. I’ve seen specialists in the past who gave me limited options. My PCP referred me to Dr Eross at Foothills Neurology and today I had the pleasure of meeting him and PA Elaine. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with kindness and compassion. MA Destiny was an absolute pleasure and both Dr. Eross and Elaine showed great concern and empathy. They took their time with me, they explained everything very well and answered all my questions and concerns. I was given options and we have a plan. I’m very hopeful that I will find healing. Thank you, Dr Eross, Elaine and staff for such a great experience.

AMAZING Providers and AMAZING care! The staff is also so friendly and helpful, even when I call with questions or need to change an appointment time. Before seeing Dr. Eross I had migraines/headaches daily, after seeing them for about 1-2 months I virtually have no more headaches. Not only has this practice made my headaches go away but they have improved my quality of life. I’m so thankful to Phoenix Headache Institute.

I struggle with this review because I liked Kristin Petcher, PA-C and Dr. Eross who helped treat my migraines. Where my 1-star rating comes from was one of their therapists, Ryan Ibarra, MA, LPC. I did not report him when this happened, but have been thinking about it lately and think it is important that potential future patients know. He over-billed my appointments citing they were "53 minutes and over" and I called him out on it because he would show up late and leave early, so we never even got close to the 53 minutes. I called him out on it, he stopped for a little bit, and then started again. He also was always doing other things on his phone/computer during our sessions (I saw him virtually, but you can always still tell when someone is doing something else). Finally, my last straw was when he started taking appointments over-the-phone (when I never said I wanted that) IN PUBLIC. He has a family and I understand things come up so I was okay doing a phone appointment every once in a while if he was having to drive to pick them up from school or something. But there was a time he told me he literally stepped out of a restaurant to do my session. He was in public. That is SUCH a huge violation of HIPAA. Another HIPAA violation, he added me on Snapchat. In hindsight, I should have reported him. But I am pretty sure the legal time period has passed at this point, so I wanted to make this post so that other people are warned before seeing Ryan Ibarra.
