Working with Burgess at Origo Functional Medicine has been the most wonderful experience! She is the first provider I've worked with who genuinely cares about my holistic health and frequently follows up with me to ensure my treatment plan is progressing. She asks in-depth strategic questions to get to the root of issues and takes an investigative approach until her recommended methods genuinely improve my health. She truly sees the body as it was designed and connects the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual into one cohesive beautiful package. I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and a severe gluten intolerance. Since beginning my journey with Burgess, I’ve experienced dramatic improvements in my overall energy and daily functioning. I wake feeling alert and can begin my day within moments, with steady, sustained energy that lasts throughout the day. The constant anxiety, racing thoughts, and episodes of palpitations have all but disappeared. My sleep has also improved significantly and now feels consistently restorative. Burgess has a passion for women’s health and has so much knowledge to truly get to the root of your issues. I feel heard and seen at my appointments. I am so appreciative of how much time she dedicates to me and my well being.
