I’ve never experienced a hyperbaric chamber before so I thought at age 72 it was about time! I am very active, but sometimes after tennis or hiking, I feel the aches and pains of age. I heard about this place and decided to give it a try. When I showed up for my appointment, I met Tiffany who is a nurse. He was very welcoming and did a great job of answering all my questions. It was clear to me that she understands the process and procedures thoroughly and she answered every question that I could come up with patiently and thoroughly. It was clear that she was a nurse, and I felt immediately comfortable. I was asked to change into a clean pair of adjustable pants and shirt that she provided for the procedure. She then directed me to a adjustable bed to lay on which transfers you into the hyperbaric chamber. The process was smooth and easy. Once in the chamber, I was comfortable and cozy with the blanket she provided. Once the chamber was turned on, I heard a quiet pumping noise and starting to feel slight pressure in my ears, which I accommodated the same way I would on an airplane. It was very similar to diving underwater as far as the ear feeling. At times, I held my nose to equalize the pressure or thrust my jaw out. It was an even series of simple changes. I learned that the hyperbaric chamber provides 2 1/2 times normal atmosphere. I also used a mask in addition to the chamber pressure for a pure oxygen supplement. Once the chamber was up to pressure I watched the provided TV for a moment or two but mostly just relaxed and spaced out in a lovely way. Throughout this process, Tiffany was checking and monitoring thoroughly and completely and asking me questions to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. I felt no ill effects after the chamber, in fact, I had a burst of energy. The next morning, I woke up without my usual aches and pains feeling better than normal. Well, I didn’t have any major issues to see how well hyperbaric chamber promotes healing, I did feel like the entire process contributed to my health! I consider myself sold on the idea of incorporating this technology and practice to live a more active life with less pain and faster healing. This was a positive experience for me start to finish!

Tiffany is wonderful! She is very knowledgable, thorough and caring. She puts me right at ease through every step of the treament, explaining the process clearly and making sure I'm doing well the whole way through. I love the experience of feeling the oxygen rejuvenate and heal my body, while I just relax and watch tv. I experience visible healing each and every time!
