I’ve only had five or so sessions of neurofeedback at Neurobalance and I can say that even from the second session I started to feel my mood uplifted and it’s only continued to get better with each session! I don’t feel as anxious throughout the day and when anxiety inducing situations arise I feel like I haven’t been collapsing into the waves like I normally would. Jon is also so chill and nice and approachable and I’m just really hopeful and excited to keep going and see what other amazing improvements I can have!

My experience with LENS therapy at Neurobalance has been nothing short of life-changing.
For most of my life I’ve dealt with a lot: trauma, ADHD, a high level of social anxiety, PTSD symptoms, and low self-esteem. I’ve tried a lot of things to make life feel even a little easier, including stimulant meds and SSRIs, and nothing truly moved the needle for me in a consistent way.
My wife found LENS therapy on TikTok and then went deep into research trying to find the best provider. One thing became really clear: Neurobalance was head and shoulders above the rest. Jon was personally trained by the inventor of LENS therapy, and I looked at it like a game of telephone. If you’re going to trust anyone with your brain, you want the person who learned directly from the creator.
Jon is genuinely kind and easy to talk to. He listens, asks thoughtful questions, and never judges. He’s also extremely reachable in between appointments, which made me feel supported instead of “on my own” between sessions. One of my favorite things about Jon is that he feels like a friend, but still stays professional. He never pushes me past what I’m comfortable with, and we always move at a pace that feels right.
So far I’ve done 4 sessions within about 2 weeks, and both my wife and I have noticed real changes. I’ve never been on time to anything consistently, and now I’m actually showing up on time more often. I used to procrastinate badly and struggle with motivation, and now I’m more proactive. I feel more engaged with life and with the people I love. I used to overthink every decision because of anxiety, and now my mind feels calmer and quieter.
Sleep has also changed dramatically. I used to have intense nightmares almost every night, sometimes to the point of waking up in a panic, and now I’m not dealing with that anymore. Overall, my ADHD symptoms feel reduced, my social anxiety is significantly lower, and I feel more confident in day-to-day life.
If you resonate with any of what I’ve shared, rest easy knowing you’re in great hands here. I’m genuinely grateful for what LENS has done for me so far, and I’m looking forward to continuing treatment with Jon.
LENS Neurofeedback with Jon
I started LENS neurofeedback with Jon to work on long-standing anxiety and PTSD patterns. I’m not in crisis, but my nervous system has always felt like it runs a little too “on” — reactive, vigilant, and never fully at rest.
What surprised me most is how quickly I noticed changes. Even after the first session, I felt calmer, less reactive, and more settled in my body. Over the next few sessions that has continued to deepen. My anxiety has softened, the PTSD-style hypervigilance has eased, and I recover from stress much more easily.
Sleep has also improved, and for the first time in years I’m able to take short, restorative naps during the day — which has been a big deal for me and a clear sign something has shifted.
What I appreciate most is that it doesn’t feel like adding anything artificial. It feels like removing interference. I don’t feel dulled or changed — just more like myself, steadier and less tense.
Jon is thoughtful, professional, and careful throughout the process, and the whole experience feels safe and well guided.
Based on how it’s been going, I fully expect to continue with this work.
LENS isn’t dramatic or flashy, but it’s working for me in a deep, practical way. If you’re dealing with chronic anxiety, PTSD, or stress-driven nervous system issues, I think it’s well worth trying.

I can’t recommend John highly enough for anyone considering neurofeedback. When I first visited his facility, I knew very little about the process. John took the time to explain everything in detail, making it easy to understand.
I came to John because I was struggling with neuroplastic pain—my body was constantly achy, my joints were sore, and I was dealing with tingling, anxiety, and depression. On top of that, I had been diagnosed with a mast cell disorder that brought its own set of symptoms.
Working with John and going through about 15 neurofeedback sessions was a game changer. It allowed my brain to reset and move away from that negative loop of feeling stuck and unwell. Within just a couple of sessions, I noticed a big difference, and by the end of my treatment plan, I felt significantly better.
I also combined neurofeedback with good therapy and somatic tracking, which I’d recommend to anyone in a similar situation. Thanks to John’s expertise, I’m now in a much better place. If you’re on the fence about neurofeedback, I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a try here.

Working with Jon and experiencing LENS neurofeedback has been truly transformative. Jon is a fantastic practitioner — grounded, knowledgeable, and deeply attentive. From the very beginning, I felt safe and supported in his care.
The sessions have made a noticeable difference in calming my nervous system. I feel more balanced, centered, and able to handle stress in a way I couldn’t before. It’s subtle but powerful work, and Jon’s presence makes all the difference. His ability to listen and adjust the process to meet my needs has been incredible.
I’m so grateful to have found Jon and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a natural and effective way to support their mental and emotional well-being.
