When I first filled out the inquiry form on their website, Dr. Harris personally contacted me and asked about my situation. I explained that I’ve struggled with depression for many years and that after trying two different antidepressants, I had reached a plateau. Dr. Harris took a great deal of time to explain depression, how traditional antidepressants work, and how ketamine is different. He answered my questions thoroughly and never rushed the conversation. After our discussion, I felt informed and comfortable enough to move forward with treatment. Working with Dr. Harris and his team was a great experience from start to finish. You truly feel cared for both before and after each treatment. The support is genuine, and it’s very clear that Dr. Harris and his staff truly care about their patients—it’s not just a job for them. Each ketamine session, including the very first one, was a positive experience. It’s hard to fully explain, but you begin to notice positive effects even after the first session, and those effects continue to build over time. After completing all my treatments, I noticed a meaningful improvement in my depressive symptoms, including reduced agitation, feeling less down, and having fewer negative thoughts. People have varying reasons for seeking ketamine therapy. Regardless of the reason, it is usually a serious decision to seek this kind of therapy. Such was the case for me. Ketamine therapy was suggested to me by a trusted personal source. Upon doing some initial research, I found Dr. Austin Harris, a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist with what appeared to me to be a very holistic approach, not a “set it and forget it” type of clinic experience. I felt safer already. I decided to call his office, and ended up on a two-hour phone call with Dr. Harris himself. It was an enlightening, rather philosophical conversation, with Dr. Harris explaining in great detail what ketamine is and does, its history, and why it has proven successful for many people. His approach was not in the least bit sterile and “medical” (though his medical knowledge is astounding), rather it was filled with compassion and definitely came from a place of mindfulness, which resonated with me. Fast-forward to today - I have completed my six two-hour infusions (as well as followed directions for mindfulness cognitive therapy at home on my own time along the way) and feel very much on a gentle road to recovery. The outpatient infusions were monitored in real-time by Dr. Harris as well as his incredibly kind and knowledgeable team. He made himself very available to me between sessions. This is concierge-type care. Dr. Harris is an outstanding professional and an outstanding human being. I cannot recommend him and NeuroRelief Ketamine & Infusion Therapy highly enough, and will be seeking his gentle care for maintenance going forward as I feel appropriate. Kindness really does matter. After doing very extensive research. I approached Dr. Harris with insomnia, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. It's not only the treatment it's the during and after care Dr. Harris provides which is exceptional and you will not find anywhere else. I felt warmth, empathy, and understanding to help me heal.  I learned a lot about myself in good way for growth. I have better relationships I am present. I am a new person. I can’t put this enough into words for a review. I am an advocate for ketamine therapy with Dr. Harris ONLY. He showed me a real life. I did not realize I was not living. I was stuck. He has a treatment plan and it will change you in a wonderful you never thought was possible.
