I was referred by my doctor to pacific pain. I did not need to make an appointment after being helped elsewhere though I got an automated text that said an appointment had been made for me. I tried calling the office multiple times to cancel it but nobody picked up. After missing the appointment I got charged a 50$ copay. I called the office after this to figure out what had happened and was told in a blunt, apathetic, and rude manner to call their billing office. So far I've called the billing office twice and nobody picked up. I've also received three automated messages just today telling me "my bill is ready" with a link to pay the bill. How many people other than me is this place scamming??? Places like this give the American medical system it's bad reputation.

UPDATE 10/6: after my initial experience (please see below), I had a seamlessly smooth procedure and had an amazing team. Thank you PPP for the care I received and my neck feels great. Had a great first visit, but just called today (Wednesday) for my appointment in Friday and they couldn’t give me a time or instructions or anything??? I’m getting sedation, and need to arrange transportation, etc….. Thankfully I work in healthcare so I know not to take NSAIDS 72 hours prior to a procedure like this, but not communicating that information to the Gen Pop is wildly irresponsible…

I have been going to Pain Management for more than five years over that time. I realize that they’re not there to manage Pain. They’re just there to get you off of your medication a.k.a. pain pills I don’t receive any pain medicine from Pacific pain well the reason why I decided to post was this is the second time they have set up injections for my back and when I called because they did not call me to set up the time they gave me the date, but they said somebody would call with the time no one called so I called Pain Management and they told me I was not scheduled again this is the second time this has happened. I just don’t understand and nobody in the office seems to understand or refused to acknowledge. I spoke to them what is want to do. I am old enough to remember when we wanted to get rid of the middleman.
