I am very happy with FCC services!
From reception staff, to therapist, medication manager, and nurse assistant...I respect everyone's professionalism, care, accountability, kindness, and communication.
Additionally, the physical offices are bright, modern, clean and welcoming. In the reception area, the coffee and tea bar, childrens' area, music, and art are all thoughtful comforts to me and others.
I was particularly happy that this practice accepts my Kaiser Medicare! Taking care of my mental health is very affordable with FCC.
I am happy, too, that FCC has multiple locations and I was able to transfer offices when a new therapeutic goal and modality became apparent. I am already feeling better after a short time and have confidence that my treatment plan and staff's careful monitoring will really help me.
On a personal note, I had been undertreated, untreated, misdiagnosed, and maltreated in prior mental health settings over the years. After more than two decades, I am finally getting the medication and therapy I have needed all along. And I am confident in the care.
I got here through crisis, by not settling, by finally getting a second opinion, and by being more assertive in expressing my treatment goals.
FCC is where I landed and I am very relieved and grateful. I especially love and trust my therapist, Shauna Ruda. And I wish others who read this all the best in finding the right fit for your healing process.

Ashley Laabs helped me with something I have been dealing with for over 30 years, finally I got some relief!
For years I felt unheard and misunderstood and started to question myself. I was once told my symptoms were just “growing pains.” The pain would come and go over the years, but in the past few months it became extremely intense. I have panic disorder, and when it flares, it shows up in my body. That physical pain is very real.
Ashley took the time to hear my concerns without rushing me. She didn’t dismiss what I was saying or make me feel dramatic. She treated my experience seriously and responded thoughtfully.
I advocated for myself and asked about trying a different prescription that better matched my symptoms. Instead of shutting it down, she listened and was open to the discussion. That collaborative approach meant a lot. Feeling respected in your own care matters more than people realize.
Ashley, thank you for your patience and for working with me. I truly appreciate it. If I could, I would hit “Like and Subscribe.”

If I could give fewer stars I would.
My psychiatrist’s approach to my treatment was “what do you want to try?” Prescribed meds without blood tests and found out later that I was prescribed meds my body couldn’t metabolize. She told me I probably had treatment resistant depression.
Tried TMS and was told it would be guided by my psychiatrist with check ins during the treatment. She didn’t check in until after I was completed with all 6 six weeks.
One month after leaving FCC, I found a psychiatrist who not only ran blood tests, but a genetic test as well. Every med I was on was wrong!
Turns out I had a treatment resistant psychiatrist.
