About this clinic

Gray Matters CT, a neuromodulation clinic in Westport, offers neurofeedback therapy supported by quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG) brain mapping. Neurofeedback uses real-time EEG data to train patients toward more optimal brain-wave patterns, with applications in attention regulation, emotional resilience, and cognitive function. The clinic conducts individualized qEEG assessments to inform treatment protocols, allowing practitioners to target specific neural dysregulation rather than prescribe a fixed program. Patients receive training across multiple sessions, with ongoing monitoring to track changes in brain activity. The practice serves patients in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and Westchester County, New York, including those

Our 3 year old son has been attending Gray Matters Greenwich location for about 10 months. He was essentially nonverbal when we started, rarely answered his name, and had difficulty completing tasks without extreme prompting. Under the supervision and guidance of Vincenzo, an individualized plan was created for him and the results have been incredible. Our son's functional language skills have been exploding in recent months, he is able to complete tasks with minimal assistance, answers his name as much as any toddler would, and his overall attention and focus has vastly improved. We could not recommend Vincenzo, and his team, Crystal and Tyler, enough to anyone who qualifies. Their support and commitment to each patient is unmatched.

Owner is very nice and professional but their employee Vincenzo is very strange. He had us pay the entire treatment upfront and the whole thing felt like a sales presentation. We tried anyway and realized my son was too young and fearful to do anything so we asked not to continue and Vincenzo had a melt down. I guess he was upset we wanted a refund for services we decided not to get. I appreciate them giving us the refund partially but their business model, approach and professionalism needs work.

I am a new patient of Dr. Silver's at Gray Matters. We plan to do a series of neurofeedback sessions to help me flourish more consistently, including improving my sleep. Dr. Silver (a Ph.D.) did a very thorough intake interview. He is an unusual combination of a sympathetic and sensitive medical professional and a very knowledgeable neuroscientist. After my two qEEGs, he explained the findings to me quite clearly and thoroughly, in a way that I, as an intelligent layman, could understand. Moreover, he created a detailed report that is accessible yet scientific. We are now beginning my targeted neurofeedback. Although the success of any treatment is uncertain a priori, my hypothesis now is that this treatment will help me on multiple levels.
