I cannot recommend Root Cause enough. I reached out because I was miserable around my period, both mentally and physically, and my symptoms were becoming unbearable. The comprehensive testing and root cause approach gave me clarity I had never received before. For the first time, I truly understood what was happening in my body and why I was feeling the way I was. Beth and Vanessa were thorough, compassionate, and took the time to clearly explain my results and connect them to my symptoms. I felt validated and supported throughout the entire process. This protocol has truly transformed how I feel, and I genuinely believe everyone could benefit from this level of personalized care.

I had an amazing experience at Root Cause Medical Clinic. Dr. Segerholm was incredible — thorough, patient, and truly committed to finding the real cause behind what I was experiencing. She listened, explained everything clearly, and made me feel supported the entire way through. After my initial meetings with her, I continued on with her care because I finally felt like someone understood what was happening with my body. Vanessa, the dietitian, was also fantastic. She helped me understand exactly what changes I needed to make, why they mattered, and how to implement them in a realistic, sustainable way. Her guidance has been a major part of my progress. I’ve struggled my entire life with symptoms that PCPs and other doctors could never figure out. Root Cause Medical Clinic was the first place that took a truly comprehensive approach — running detailed, meaningful tests and giving me actual knowledge I can use for the rest of my life. Both Dr. Segerholm and Vanessa were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my health. I finally feel like I have a team that cares and knows how to help me heal. I highly recommend this clinic and especially Dr. Segerholm and Vanessa.

***Root Cause Medical Clinic helped go from being bedridden for months to running 5Ks regularly*** I was struggling with gut issues for years and kept getting worse and worse until my nervous system began shutting down. I had been experiencing severe panic attacks and ended up bedridden for many months. I had been to so many doctors, including Mayo Clinic - but still left with no answers. When I found Root Cause Medical Clinic, they were a life-saver (literally). Since I was in bed most of the time, it was amazing to be able to do telemedicine, and their staff were so kind and encouraging! They were able to identify my issues specifically and treat them quickly. After I finished the program, I decided to keep a regular appointment schedule as they continue to help tweak and improve my health. Thank God for these people!
