I had a “free” evaluation by Dr Robert Davis, DC for some minor tingling in my feet. Not desperate, no pain, just to get educated as to possible treatment. During the “sales” pitch he disregarded medical treatment as worthless and even dangerous. He also stated several times that only I could determine time and financial commitment. He never revealed the cost of my likely one year program. When I declined an immediate 45 minute billable session and told him I needed to think about it, he lost it. Dr Robert Davis, DC got agitated, angry, and rude stating the program wasn’t for me and demanded I leave. I was already on my way. Never have I witnessed a healthcare professional behave in that manner. He is not one. This doctor of whatever is the one who needs treatment, anger management. In my opinion, and based on this interaction, your money is more important than your health to Dr Robert Davis, DC. Also based on my research, there’s little evidence his “therapy” outperforms traditional medical treatment. Do your own and my recommendation is to find someone else if you do choose it. Total scammers. Wish I had been more careful but when you have neuropathy that is progressing you will do almost anything to stop it. Enter Dr. Davis. I flew down from NY to be treated with a “newspaper coupon” in hand for a special $197 complete examination. That coupon, published in a Fort Myers local newspaper. It also said treatment would cost as little as $300 a month and “ I am not trying to seduce you to come to see me at this low start up fee and then to make it up with high fees after that.” Total baloney. I was told he could treat me for a year at distance because I was in New York; given a diet; exercises; electric stimulation device etc. and we would talk “anytime “. He convinced me to pay him $16,704 for this ongoing treatment. I did because I was desperate to get better. He took full advantage of that desperation. I followed all instructions for months, talked to him a few times (maybe 4-5 over that many months)always instigated by me. He never changed anything or advised me to do anything different- he just said keep at it. He never tried to get in touch with me himself to see how it was going as an ongoing patient with a contract. I finally gave up with no improvement and have never had any kind of interest or follow up from him. I was duped, scammed,stupid to believe him. He seemed so caring, kind and sure I would get better. False promises. He did ALMOST, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AND GOT $16,000 for it. Beware, beware, beware. I hate to think how many others he has scammed as well. It is now almost 2 years later. He was zero help and I am still suffering. Only I am worse for having believed him and red hot angry. He sure as hell should not be treating neuropathy..
