I have a tear in the TFCC and after the PRP treatment under the care of Dr. Anup Patel's I’ve seen an improvement. My pain was unbearable. I could not do simple motions without having excruciating pain now I am back to lifting weights. Dr. Patel and I talked about the possibility of having surgery. I really appreciated that he was honest and caring enough to tell me it might not work. That’s why we decided on trying the PRP therapy. Although Dr. Patel barely found documented cases where PRP therapy had been applied to TFCC tears like mine his professional attitude, experience and knowledge gave me enough confidence to give it a try.
