Ascend Functional Health - Formerly Alessi Functional Health

I'm elated to share my experience with Alessi Functional Health! In 2024 I suffered from a meniscus tear in my right knee, and after two debilitating years of struggling with mobility and flexibility issues, with an MRI showing medial and lateral tears within my knee, I'd almost given up on regaining my mobility and freedom. Even after swimming laps, regular gym cardio, after trying every supplement, powder, tincture, herb, topical solution and nutrient macro combination I could research, nothing seemed to decrease the strain on my knee, it was like living in a nightmare, robbed of my mobility and freedom. Though I continued my research, I truly began to wonder if I'd ever be able to move like I used to, as the back of my knee continued to swell with a baker's cyst and the pain only grew exponentially. I was ready to bite the bullet, scheduling a surgery for my knee, when I came across an advertisement for Dr. Alessi Softwave Therapy while on Instragram. With everything else having failed me, I decided I'd give Dr. Alessi a shot, and if that failed as well then I'd call my orthopedic surgeon and continue with the surgery. Just four (4!) weeks into my treatment and I've never been so happy to have given a product a chance! I've begun regaining mobility which I thought I might never have again. Through the combined efforts of the Softwave Therapy, PEMF and encouragement from the staff at the Alessi clinic, I'm on the road to recovery and feel rejuvenated, more youthful than I have in years. These last 2 years have been disappointment after disappointment, and for the first time I'm truly hopeful that I'll be able to exercise and have a routine again. Just to be able to walk without a limp in my step, to not be greeted with chronic pain just as I get out of bed, it's life-changing. A big thank you to Dr. Alessi, Hanna, and the entire crew!

Alessi Functional Health is absolutely fantastic! Everyone that works there is so welcoming and positive every time I go in. They always make sure that you’re comfortable and welcome feedback if anything isn’t working for you or there are adjustments that you don’t like. I’ve tried multiple chiropractors in the Tampa area and didn’t find my fit until coming to Alessi. They really want you to get better and they’re not just looking for the quick “cracks” and getting you out the door. 1,000% recommend!
