About this clinic

Better Health Greater Life, a hormone-optimization clinic in Atlanta, specializes in hormone-replacement therapy for men and women addressing hormone-related decline and midlife transitions. The practice offers platelet-rich plasma therapy for joint and soft-tissue concerns, alongside cryotherapy for recovery and performance support. Treatment plans are individualized following an initial assessment, with ongoing monitoring as protocols are adjusted. The clinic positions itself as a comprehensive approach to functional restoration and longevity rather than single-modality intervention. Aesthetic services including IPL are available as adjunctive offerings for patients pursuing whole-body optimization alongside hormone-focused care.

I absolutely love my gynecologist and her entire staff! From the moment you walk in, you’re treated with genuine care, respect, and professionalism. The office is filled with staff members who look like me, which makes the experience even more meaningful, and the level of excellence truly shows. I genuinely feel like my needs and concerns are met and I’m valued and heard. Doctor Lovelady is knowledgeable, attentive, and takes the time to listen and explain everything thoroughly, making me feel comfortable and confident in my care. The staff is warm, efficient, and welcoming—nothing ever feels rushed. Ms. Dana? Down to earth but still exudes professionalism. She once stayed at work 30 extra minutes just to receive a CALLBACK from me. I’ve never experienced that caliber of care from ANY other doctor’s office. I love this place & I always leave feeling well taken care of and supported. I wish i would’ve found them in my twenties but I’m so grateful to have FINALY found a practice that prioritizes both quality healthcare and patient comfort. Highly recommend!

DO NOT GO IF YOU’RE A NEW PATIENT – YOU WILL NOT BE WELCOMED. I booked an appointment at this office, believing it was the best choice for my medical needs. I have been experiencing abdominal pain and other health issues for years, and I was hopeful this visit would provide some answers. Unfortunately, I was completely wrong. From the moment I arrived, the energy in the office felt off. The staff was unwelcoming, and their body language was dismissive. I arrived ten minutes early (at 9:20 AM), completed my paperwork before the previous patient, and still waited until 9:45 AM—after another patient with a 9:45 AM appointment was called back—before asking the front desk if there would be a long wait. The receptionist claimed she was still entering my information, despite having completed early check-in online. Instead of addressing my concerns, she handed my paperwork to another staff member, who then gave it back to me. It was clear from the start that they did not want me there and had no concern for my health. When I was finally called back, the staff member weighing me was rude, dismissive, and showed no compassion. I then waited another 10–15 minutes, and by 10:00 AM, I still hadn’t seen the doctor. When the doctor finally entered, she was extremely unprofessional. She asked about my concerns, and after I explained my ongoing struggles and history of seeing multiple doctors, she began arguing with me about my medical history—even though it was clearly outlined in my patient summary, which she claimed to have reviewed. Instead of offering guidance or solutions, she asked me, "What do you want me to do?" I was stunned. I told her that I didn’t know—that’s why I was there. I came seeking medical expertise, not an argument. Her response? She told me I could stay or leave. At that point, I refused to go back and forth with someone who was supposed to be responsible for my healthcare. I walked out. I was there, pleading for help, and instead, I was judged, mishandled, and dismissed by the very people entrusted with patient care. I have been in pain for two days, I have two autistic children to care for, and I haven't slept. Despite remaining calm and respectful, the doctor refused to listen or provide any real assistance. Facilities like this must be held accountable. They claim to serve the community, yet they turn away those in need. Medical offices that treat patients this way should be investigated and, if necessary, shut down. Our healthcare system must do better.
