I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Medici. I’ve been receiving treatment here for disc herniations, and from day one I’ve felt genuinely seen, heard, and respected—which matters more than anything when you’re dealing with chronic pain. Every member of the team is professional, attentive, and compassionate. They take the time to listen, explain options clearly, and treat me like a whole person—not just a diagnosis. I never feel rushed or dismissed, and my concerns are always taken seriously. It’s rare to find a medical practice that combines clinical expertise with true human care, but Medici does exactly that. I’m incredibly grateful for their support and highly recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, respectful, and effective care.

If you are uninsured and being sent here under a medical lien after an accident, read this carefully. After our car wreck (which totaled my truck), my partner and I were referred here by our former attorney. We had no health insurance and were told to sign medical liens. When you’re in pain, financially wrecked, and trying to survive, you sign what you’re told to sign. Under that lien, they billed my MRI at $6,000 and my girlfriend’s at $4,000. After questioning it, they “reduced” them by 50%. So we’re still paying $2,000 and $3,000. For MRIs. This doesn’t touch the other charges, either. Not surgery. Not trauma care. Imaging. When you’re on a lien, it feels like pricing exists in an entirely different universe. These charges come straight out of your settlement — the very money that’s supposed to help you rebuild your life. It didn’t rebuild ours. It drained it. We were also pressured about optional procedures. We said no. Firmly. After that, the tone in the exam room shifted dramatically. Dr. Sonny’s attitude changed in a way that was unmistakable. It felt like saying “no” was not well received. Shortly after that visit — with no procedures performed — our medical cap was hit. Draw your own conclusions. Because of the billing structure, most of our settlement disappeared. I should have had enough to replace my vehicle and continue care for my back — which is STILL severely injured from the wreck. Instead, we had to stop treatment. Being injured is traumatic. Feeling financially gutted while injured is worse. To be fair: The physical therapy team is AMAZING. Skilled, compassionate, attentive. They were the one consistently positive part of this experience. The front desk experience was the opposite — cold, dismissive, and especially unhelpful when asking legitimate billing questions involving thousands of dollars. If you are considering treatment here under a lien: • Get all pricing in writing up front. • Compare MRI cash pricing elsewhere. • Understand exactly how much of your settlement may be consumed. • Do not assume “self-pay” means reasonable. We walked in hurt and vulnerable. We walked out still hurt — just poorer.

If I could give zero stars I would. I came in for low back pain and upon my exam she said that I would not qualify for long term disability but I would for short term disability and I wait a month for them to talk with my insurance company which they did not do and getting ahold of them is impossible. It had gotten to the point I had to go into the office to get an answer which was that I didn’t qualify for either and the doctor had lied to me saying i qualified for short term disability. So then the doctors writes down my accommodations and sends it to my insurance company. Which they needed my doctor to fill out a different form and I sent it to my doctor and after a week after I sent them the form I had to call them. After already calling once and leaving a voicemail I had to call them again later to get someone on the phone who told me I had to go to my primary care to get the forms filled out and they don’t do accommodations. I told her I haven’t seen my primary care for my back pain and I haven’t only seen them because they are ORTHOPEDICS. So whatever you do GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND NOT GOVE YOU ANSWERS!!!!
