My digestive system is working regularly now. That’s to name one thing that I noticed after 5 treatments. My mind is clearer than before. The fog is gone. My toes don’t get cold like they use to in this cold weather. So, my blood circulation must have increased. The cold doesn’t bother me like it used to too. These are my results after a total of 7 sessions. My last 2 sessions were 120 minutes at 2.4 pressure. I came back for those 2 additional sessions because I noticed a big change in my overall all well being. I got the treatments because I did research on hyperbaric chambers on YouTube and I wanted to do my on test to see if it was beneficial to my health. I did it for health maintenance. I know it works for me. So, I will make it a part of my health journey. Maybe once or twice a year. And, Daniel and the whole team was great ! Family friendly vibe ! I cannot say enough good things about ART Hyperbaric and the impact they had on my recovery. I recently underwent a very invasive L5-S1 surgery. The procedure involved both anterior and posterior entry. From the front, the surgeon replaced the disc between L5 and S1 and installed a plate with four screws. Then I was flipped over and had three additional incisions in my back—two through the back muscles and one directly over the spine—so two titanium rods and four more screws could be placed to fully support the fusion. Each of the back incisions was three to four inches long. It was a major operation with an expected long and painful recovery. This wasn’t my first spinal surgery. In 2019, I had a disc replaced at L4-L5, but that procedure was less invasive because it was only done from the front. Even so, that recovery was brutal. I couldn’t walk a mile until about six weeks post-op. My pain levels were high, my incisions took longer than expected to heal, and physical therapy had to be delayed. The first year after that surgery was extremely difficult. This time, I made a different decision. After watching my wife recover from a double mastectomy using hyperbaric therapy—and seeing firsthand how quickly her bruising and incisions healed—I decided to incorporate hyperbaric treatments into my own recovery. I completed 10 hyperbaric sessions and 20 laser treatments at ART Hyperbaric. The difference has been remarkable. At four weeks post-op, my incisions are fully healed. I am already walking two miles a day. My pain levels are dramatically lower compared to my first surgery, and overall I feel strong and optimistic. The recovery experience has been completely different—and significantly better—than what I went through in 2019. I genuinely attribute a large part of that to the hyperbaric and laser treatments I received at ART Hyperbaric. Beyond the results, the team is exceptional.
