Indianapolis TMS

For those looking a nonmedication from of depression treatment, you may want to consider TMS. I recently started, and have gone 5 time so far. 7/3/2024 first time appointment and consultation was a quick. during your first session they will try to locate your motor response area and move just beyond that to where your emotions are regulated. Treatments last about 19 minutes, i think having headphones is handy to listen to music or something relaxing. I do find the dentist style chair very uncomfortable on my back. I kind of feel like I should be like in a massage chair having a spa day :). I wish the temperature in the office was better regulated as I run hot while in the office. (Updated 9/3/2024) it’s soo much more comfortable in the office! The first initial set of treatments will feel like a nail is being hammered away at your head. I have not quiet gotten used to that. the staff I have met so far have been pleasant. Thanks to Megan, evie and Tiffany for their top tier work ethic. Bonus shout out for bear! What a cute dog! I will update this as my treatments progress.( I took a month off for other treatment) glad to be back.

I had a great experience with the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly! I finished my TMS treatments and I'm feeling so much better. I would recommend again and again!

Sent in two online requests for an appointment, the only thing I got back was a form email saying someone would contact me "next week". Never heard anything else. Eventually I called to make an appointment, the woman who answered clearly had no idea what she was doing, she claimed she was new so I gave her some leeway. She gave me a date and time but no other instructions on what to bring or anything, which was odd. I never got any sort of reminder call, so the day of the appointment I called to confirm. Straight to voicemail. I called probably a dozen times throughout the day and all of them went straight to voicemail. I live an hour away and I just wanted confirmation before I made the drive. Needless to say I never got an answer and nobody ever called me back regarding my voicemail, so I didn't make the trip. For a place that specializes in helping depressed people, they've made it very clear that I'm not important.
