Atma Clinic

I found the Atma Clinic when searching for a practice that would help me implement a highly advanced protocol for my 6 year old son with severe nonverbal autism. Dr. Sandal not only agreed to help on very short notice, but was genuinely curious and excited to participate in this protocol. He even took the time to meet with the physician from overseas to coordinate care. Of course we were nervous but everyone at the Atma Clinic was so incredibly kind and supportive, it made all of the difference to our family. Since we were in the office multiple times a week for months, we got to know the staff and they were so happy to hear about our son’s progress. Our son is making huge developmental strides forward. His verbalizations are increasing daily, he is 100% potty trained now, he listens and follows directions, and he is so much happier. We actually have hope for a recovery. This has been a life changing gift. I definitely recommend the Atma Clinic if you are looking for a partner in your healthcare and a physician that is open to learning and trying the latest science.

I walked into the Atma Clinic a year ago and my life has forever changed! After years of going to the doctor with the same symptoms and being told I was “just tired because I’m a mom,” I knew I needed a different path. I never truly felt listened to when I voiced concerns about my body. Finally, I decided enough was enough. A few months before that appointment, I had started researching functional health — learning about finding the root cause instead of just covering symptoms with pills. I began diving into how food impacts our bodies and how much what we put in our bodies truly matters. My weight had stalled, I constantly felt “blah,” and I had no joy or ambition. It was affecting not only me, but my ability to fully show up as a mom to my beautiful girls. The day I walked into my initial appointment, I was met with smiles, warmth, and genuine kindness. I immediately knew I was in the right place. For the first time, I felt heard. They wanted to uncover the root cause — not just place a bandaid over my symptoms. The doctors, nutritionist, and therapist all work together to provide full-body care, and I loved that approach. They ran the right tests based on my symptoms, and I learned so much about myself in the process. But the biggest blessing of all? I have my joy back. I no longer care about what I look like or what the scale says. I care about being a kind human, spreading love, and showing up fully for the life I’ve been given. Atma is a big reason we are glad we moved here. Access to this type of care makes healthy/balanced living so much easier! Atma is not a "medical" clinic; it is a warm and nourishing haven of healers and support. Western medicine is just one of many therapies offered. I can't imagine going anywhere else for health-care. At Atma, they see the whole person, not just an ailment. Diversity is welcomed and cherished. I feel relaxed and fed there, not just "treated." Many thanks to Atma Clinic and to all of its kind staff.
