I've been a patient at two other ketamine treatment centers since 2018 and just recently learned of Bluegrass Ketamine Center. The differences between the others and Bluegrass are night and day. I felt as if I were a number at the others, but here I felt like I actually belonged. Everyone that I spoke to before/during/after was incredibly kind and understanding, and listened to me. The treatment center is beautiful. The treatment rooms are immaculate, private, and cozy. Extra points for the barn doors on the rooms-- very nice touch! :) I'm not a picky person, but there are lots of things that I would've changed at the other locations (i.e. being able to see other patients during infusions, having to use public restrooms in office building hallways, background noise/people talking, outdated equipment, etc...). Here though, I don't think I'd change a single thing. I even took my own blanket because I get cold during infusions sometimes, but Bluegrass has a basket in the treatment room with blankets, and other things to make you comfortable. It's almost as if Bluegrass said "let's do the exact opposite of everyone else", and this is why I feel it works so well. I honestly can't see myself going anywhere else now. Last but not least, I really appreciated the opportunity to get my bearings after the infusion was complete. It takes a few minutes to get your legs back after a ketamine infusion, and at the other treatment centers I mentioned earlier, I felt rushed to leave. This made it quite embarrassing sometimes as you left the building. Once again, this all goes back to being treated well as a patient, and not "who's next?" Thanks, Bluegrass Ketamine Center! Pain, depression and anxiety will never magically go away. However these treatments have the ability to move neurological, memory or I have no idea what connections in the mind so relevant and profound that the feeling of feeling good, and safe are a new reality . However in my long life this is the only treatment that made a profound impact in my life. Profound is only the close word. If you want to view paradise simply look around you are in it.
