I originally deleted my first bad review because I wanted to give this place a second chance, but now that I know they are fine with lying to patients I’d like to warn people. This company is everything wrong with the health care industry in this country in a nutshell. Pure greed, hypocrisy, and malice. Emerge told me that the IV ketamine treatments were not covered by insurance and were $350 each. The reality is that they still charge your insurance after telling you the insurance doesn’t cover it and thus you owe them for 7 copays. They don’t charge the co pay at the time of the visit, like every other doctor’s office, so the surprise comes at the end unless you read the fine print. The thing is they don’t tell you about the co pays because they are trying to obfuscate the cost of the treatment. It’s a sales tactic. I have in writing and a phone message from them admitting that I was lied to. When I first asked about additional charges that I wasn’t expecting, based on the description of the cost structure I was given verbally, I got a rather rude response saying that because I had signed the paper work that I owed them the money regardless. This is legally correct and so I paid them. However, lying to your patients and then pointing to the paperwork they signed as an excuse for why the lying was acceptable is what I would normally expect at a car dealership and not at a business that claims its designed to “help” people. It’s been months since I got the treatment and I’m still getting charges for co pays. The invoices for these charges? All dead links with some generic error message. I’m fairly certain they’ve overcharged me at this point, but I can’t get the office manager to resend the invoices despite my request. They don't let you reply to the business's response and I feel like they are being misleading in their, obviously written by AI, response so I'll respond here. Just to be clear when I asked to be refunded based on the fact that they lied to me and even admitted to lying, they chose to cease contact rather than repay me. They alluded to making things right multiple times, but chose to not repay me the co pays for a treatment their employee told me was not covered by insurance at all. If an employee lies to a customer and the business doesn't take responsibility and make the customer whole again then even a million word essay about ethics becomes pretty meaningless. If when given the chance to make things right you refuse, how do can you lecture anyone about ethics?

The providers here are absolutely amazing. Heather is in a class beyond any care I have ever received. Caring, thoughtful, experienced and supportive in every way possible. Really went above and beyond my expectations. Of course this type of treatment varies based on the individual, but it starts with the provider and the staff- the team here really do their best to make sure every patient succeeds with their personalized treatment.

Emerge has made this process so easy to navigate. The providers have been great in finding the best treatment options for me. The receptionist is always available for follow up questions. The office manager Ashley is available and very knowledgeable about the process. There is no better place to get the treatment you need. Emerge will get it done from start to finish. Thank you!
