About this clinic

Dedham Consultation Center, a behavioral health practice in Boston, specializes in evidence-based neuromodulation and ketamine-assisted psychiatric care. The clinic offers Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Neurofeedback Therapy, and Ketamine Therapy, treating treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and related conditions through individualized protocols. Board-certified psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners conduct comprehensive evaluations and oversee ongoing monitoring throughout treatment. The practice serves both adolescents and adults, positioning neuromodulation and ketamine therapy as alternatives or adjuncts to conventional pharmaceutical approaches for patients who have not responded adequately to standard care. Treatment selection follows clinical assessment rather than a single fixed protocol, reflecting the clinic's emphasis on tailored therapeutic intervention.

It’s such a shame that the face of the business, Misty, has such a backing from the other staff. She’s been nothing but abrasive, verbally abusive, and dishonest. I’m working with a different staff member now to resolve the balance they care so deeply about, one I only have due to previously approved insurance claims getting denied after the fact while I was unaware and continued to be offered treatment. My provider was good, but I’m not supporting a business who treats PATIENTS like this. I see that the responses to the negative reviews always include something hinting at the issues being the patients fault (contact info, miscommunication). So, let’s see what comes here. If Misty put a tenth of the effort into self-awareness and professionalism that she did into her aggressive and mean demeanor, maybe I would trust this provider🤷‍♀️

Great to see that Dedham Consultation Center is so active in responding to its Google reviews! However, they are much less active when it comes to making sure that your prescription is refilled in a timely matter: I personally have had to contact the office three times in the last four months to get a prescription filled. If you want some practice in self-advocacy, this is the place for you! If you're more interested in getting necessary prescriptions filled in a timely fashion, start looking elsewhere. (I am!)

Impossible to reach your psychiatrist. You might’ve able to reach somebody who’s not your psychiatrist (who can’t help you) and promises they will get your provider to respond, but provider does NOT respond 😊 The only way to contact your provider directly is to make an appointment. And if they send in your prescription incorrectly, you never get it fixed because you can’t contact them! They also don’t read portal messages, emails, or listen to their own voicemails. I am also looking for a new psychiatrist once my president here fixes his mistake with my prescription. But I can’t reach him! It’s like a super fun game- like hide and go seek. I’m adding a picture of the most recent review I saw because they said basically the same thing and it’s interesting we all have th e same experience here! Love the front desk lady though ♥️
