About this clinic

Dr. Novikov Wellness and Skin Care, located in Northborough, Massachusetts, offers regenerative and supportive approaches to skin conditions including acne and other dermatologic concerns. The clinic specializes in microneedling, cryotherapy, and compression therapy—modalities that support the skin's natural healing response rather than relying solely on pharmaceutical or ablative intervention. Microneedling in particular stimulates collagen remodeling and may improve skin texture and appearance over a series of treatments. Cryotherapy and compression therapy serve as adjunctive tools within a broader regenerative-skin posture. The practice combines these evidence-based skin treatments with medical and surgical dermatologic expertise, posit

Had an emergent issue that required immediate attention. I was able to make an appointment easily and was seen very quickly. Dr. Novikov and staff were very attentive and handled everything with great care and professionalism. My procedure went well and healed quickly. They didn't take my insurance, but the out of pocket pricing was very reasonable.

The PA I saw was thorough and kind and I liked her quite well, but in my experience the office admin is a mess and I urge caution and attention to detail to anyone dealing with the office. I booked through ZocDoc and had annoying but immaterial issues with checkin. Then, more concerning, I had a time-consuming billing issue. After being invoiced multiple times for a bill already paid, and after a couple months of back and forth exchanges of me supplying irrefutable documentation to their external billing contractor who able to research internally and confirm my overpayment, I was finally issued a refund for the overpayment. Then > 3 months later the office called to inform me they canceled my follow up appointment. When asked the reason, “billing issues” was the answer. The front office clerk who called was uninterested in pursuing any further clarification, and was just delivering the message about the decision. So I’m honestly not sure what the justification is from their side. I wouldn’t want my elderly loved ones to go here in case similar billing issues pop up and go unnoticed and uncorrected. And then to be dropped as a patient presumably for correcting the administrative error. It doesn’t sit right. Edit: Responding to the office’s reply. The appointment was 3/29/24. I paid my $40 copay via credit card 3/29/24. The insurance company processed the $214 payment billed on 4/3/24. I was redundantly invoiced two more times, erroneously paid one of the invoices, and was then refunded for that erroneously paid invoice after providing documentation. There are no unresolved billing issues. This was an error by the business and its contractor.

Had a procedure with Dr. Novikov today and he made it more than pleasant. I have always had a fear of doctors and any type of surgical procedures in general and he was very understanding of that. He did his best to make me comfortable and relaxed along with his assistant. Incredibly professional, quick, and efficient. Would recommend them 1000x if i could.
