As someone who does regular strength training, injuries occasionally come with the territory. I highly recommend Better Health Medical Center and Michaela. I initially came in with a calf strain that was limiting my mobility and affecting my performance. From the very first appointment, Michaela was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. She took the time to explain what was happening, walked me through a clear treatment plan, and provided exercises that have truly made a difference. Over the course of treatment, I’ve experienced noticeable improvement in both pain reduction and strength. I not only feel better day-to-day, but I’m also able to perform better physically with more confidence and range of motion. Her approach is thoughtful, encouraging, and tailored to what your body actually needs. I also appreciate how flexible and understanding the office is with scheduling. Eric and the team at Better Health are wonderful!! From the first visit, Eric saw me as a whole person and worked not only on my pain, but on helping me build strength and balance to prevent injuries elsewhere. He incorporated multiple modalities in my care and each visit never felt rushed. He also was great at setting expectations early on, so I knew I wasn't in for a quick fix. The self scheduling link makes setting up visits a breeze. It feels great to support a local business that I can walk to in the city!! Also, the team was great at verifiying my insurance and telling me exactly what my costs were before my visit. No surprises!
