Brad Bychinski truly has a gift. He was highly recommended to me by a friend who knew I had multiple bad experiences with counselors in the past.
I came in there skeptical and perhaps even rude.
He was kind, met me where I was at and somehow got me to a place of… okay I think I can have this conversation.
He doesn’t judge you or even put anything negative on you. He just listens and tries to understand your perspective without making you feel like crap. He is relatable and just does such a good job of making you want to become a better person and want to put in the work to do it.
Hiring a counselor that has the gifts Brad does is life-changing. Highly recommend.

I could not more highly recommend this place, it truly changed my life. For over a decade I have battled with my mental health and have tried various treatments. I can attest that neurotherapy and the counseling here has had a major impact on my life for the better. Brad, Julia and the rest of the team at Life Counseling really listen to you. I could not be more grateful.

I see Rachel for individual therapy and she is amazing!!! I’ve only seen her a couple times so far, but she has made me feel so comfortable and safe. She is really easy to talk to as well. She has helped me tremendously so far and I can’t wait to continue seeing her. Also, the services are affordable so I can’t talk myself out of it!

Don't go here for neurofeedback/qEEG scan. Spent $1000 with them and they refuse to release my report.
Why? Their story is they want to explain the results. However, you can imagine how complicated that report is and so my reply was, "it's completely lost on me... I just need you to send it to my therapist." Continued refusal.
(And, btw, this would have been the second of two "review/explain" the results sessions... after the first I felt as though my brain had melted I was so lost/confused.)
So, my takeaway is that they just wanted to squeeze another office visit fee out of me.
This was my second scan and was wanting to see if any changes after 6 months. (Would have gone to my original provider but she was booked out over a month and this was time-sensitive. Her process? My original scan results were in my therapist's inbox same week.)
So, lesson learned. If you're looking for neuro/qEEG, there are two providers in Edina who are more credentialed and less expensive.

The counseling portion was okay. The only thing that’s negative about this place is that they only Accept preferred one insurance. I had several sessions with them and it took 6 whole months to get a bill in the mail for almost $800 ! I asked them why it took so long to get things billed through the insurance company and their response was because they were going through a “transition” in the office. I’m so upset with how bad their communication is here. I’m definitely not going back here or recommending it to anyone that i know.
