Dr. Dickson is a true professional. When there was trouble time and again with my insurance, enough that anyone else would have simply dropped me and moved on, he worked with the company to find a solution that let me get the treatment I need. Beyond that, it's the small touches that make the experience friendly and comfortable. Ginger candy to get rid of the post nasal taste of spravato. Calm music. A humidifier. Offers to work around the bus schedule I need to use. I overslept for an appointment and he called me to check to make sure I was OK. He's been endlessly eager to make sure I'm comfortable and satisfied. This is not a review of Spravato or Ketamine. They've been great, but there are plenty of options for providers. What I'm saying is that Dr. Dickson's professionalism and bedside (couchside?) manner is uniquely beneficial to that experience. Ketamine is still frontier medicine at the moment, and powerful enough as to demand respect. You want a tool like that in the hands an expert; a person who will try to align every possible factor in your favor.

I've been a patient of Dr Dickson for several years. I have had the best experience with him and would continue to see him if I was not moving out of the area. I have always felt listened to, and been treated with kindness and respect by him. He has always worked extremely well in cooperation with the rest of my care team. I could not recommend him enough!
