About this clinic

The New Jersey Institute For Neurofeedback, located in Hamilton Township, specializes in Neurofeedback Therapy, a non-invasive, drug-free approach to brain regulation. The treatment works by providing real-time feedback to help patients recognize and modify brain-wave patterns associated with attention, mood, and emotional regulation. The clinic focuses on conditions including ADHD, anxiety, and depression, where dysregulation of neural activity contributes to symptom presentation. Neurofeedback is individualized; protocols are tailored to each patient's EEG profile and clinical presentation. Treatment typically involves multiple sessions over weeks or months, with progress tracked through ongoing assessment. The practice positions neurofeedback as a supportive modality that complements or, in some cases, serves as an alternative to pharmaceutical intervention for patients seeking non-medication pathways to symptom reduction and improved self-regulation.

My sixteen year old daughter had been suffering from performance anxiety specifically in Math, although she has what I call the ‘worry wart gene’ she inherited from her father’s side of the family. I’ve seen it play out in the irrational, unfounded fears and anxiety that occupied her brain and the brains of other family members who are wired similarly. I had tried to help her in every way I could, but was unable to alleviate her feelings of insecurity and self-doubt. Her anxiety and self-induced stress was leading to erratic test scores and information blackout during exams, for example. Her fears effected other areas of her life as well. In my research, I stumbled onto to The NJ Institute for Neurofeedback. It made sense to explore this line of treatment as I’m a proponent of wholistic wellness and the methodologies it employs. So we gave it a go. I couldn’t be happier with the result. My daughter is much calmer, able to sleep better, and has less performance anxiety. In short, this non-invasive, reprogramming of her brain function has improved her quality of life immeasurably. Of course, main stream medicine would shun this wholistic approach. It’s done without medication in a comfortable, pleasant environment. Judy and her staff are friendly, knowledgable, and supportive. Treatment has a beginning, an end, and no harmful side effects. It’s been an investment in my daughter’s health and well being. And it’s been worth every penny.

Don't wait one minute more. My daughter is on the spectrum. She suffers with ADHD, Tourette's syndrome, OCD, ODD, anxiety and depression. Medication wasn't helping. Therapy alone wasn't helping. And despite being told neurofeedback might be the answer, we put it off, because we didn't know enough about it. Fast forward to today. My daughter is thriving in school, she is maintaining a social life, and is a very different girl from the one who arrived at neurofeedback for her first visit. Judy and her staff treat both patient and parent like family. They will make you feel welcome, at ease and at home. Most importantly, they will help your child and be there when you need them. Trust me. I know.

I have been going to New Jersey Institute for Neurofeedback in Lawrenceville for about 3 months now for anxiety, panic, and OCD. In the three months I have been attending sessions I have found a noticeable decrease in my mood disorders along with the ability to manage them when they do arise. The sessions themselves involve 20-30 minutes of a Netflix show of my choosing 2 times a week, and a therapist visit once a week. The staff is very kind and helpful, and will work with you based on your needs. Of all of the techniques I have tried for managing my mood disorders, this one was probably the most effective and relaxing. The office itself is clean and inviting and wait time is pretty minimal in my experience. I highly recommend NJ Institute for Neurofeedback for anyone looking to improve their mood and/or concentration.
