I had multiple tick-borne illnesses all at a very high concentration since I was about 5 years old. I wasn’t made aware of what these infection were until I was 19, and tried the normal (and some not normal) antibiotic treatments, and they only slightly helped. I eventually learned of Dr. Zimmermann in June of 2024 and have been seeing her ever since. Today I can proudly say that I have no more infections, and that is due to Dr. Zimmermann and her wonderful expertise and staff. The problem with Lyme treatments in general is that people expect a linear progression. With how Lyme works, that is simply not possible. Just stick with it and have faith in Dr. Z and her staff, stay committed to treatment, and you can get better too. If I did, so can anyone else. Thank you Dr. Z for all you have done for me.

Dr. Z is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate and kind. She takes a personal interest in her patients and creates a plan specific to the individual’s needs. Her office has the most ground-breaking diagnostic tools and therapeutic equipment to aid in recovery. And the environment is comfortable, clean, with very short wait-times. Support staff are pleasant, knowledgeable and expertly-skilled. I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Z. She has my complete confidence in treating Lyme disease and other chronic illnesses.

I could not possibly recommend Dr. Zimmermann more to anyone looking to heal through functional medicine and holistic pathways. Dr. Z straight up saved my life. I was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease after it went over a year undetected and I was sleeping 20+ hours a day and physically couldn’t sit up in bed or feed myself without help from family. I saw traditional doctor after traditional doctor that just kept pumping me with antibiotics that made me feel worse and even made me feel crazy that I wasn’t getting better. I was blessed to be put in contact with Dr. Z and was ready to try a different style of treatment even though I had doctors laugh at me when I told them I was taking a holistic approach after their failed attempts to help me. That was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. Through various IVs, ozone treatments and herbal drops I was given my life back, I could function like a normal human again and for the first time in years I wasn’t in agonizing pain 24 hours a day. I have also dealt with really bad stomach issues over the years due to harmful bacteria in my gut that she was able to identify and provide proper treatment for to get me feeling back to normal. Her approach on healing through functional medicine is truly one of a kind… and it works ! My advice to anyone struggling is to be patient. The treatments don’t work over night, there is no magic pill to cure you in a day but I can guarantee that she will find the root cause of your issue and if you stay consistent with her treatment protocol and take the necessary steps she recommends, you will feel better and you will get your life back. Take it from someone that didn’t see a world where I’d ever get out of bed again and now I’m back on my feet feeling amazing. To be honest, even ten years after my first visit I still see her multiple times a year to discuss any new issues I’m having or just for an overall wellness check with blood work or stool samples. It’s hard to find trustworthy Doctors in today’s world when everything is driven by greed, pharmaceuticals and the lack of acceptance that functional medicine truly works.
