I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care I received. The nursing staff and all the hospital personnel were incredibly kind and attentive throughout my stay. I was truly impressed by their dedication and professionalism.
Dr. LiU is an outstanding physician, and I feel fortunate to have been under their care. Their expertise and compassionate approach made a significant difference in my experience. It's reassuring to know that such skilled professionals are available.
Before my procedure, I had been experiencing discomfort for a considerable period. The relief I have felt since is remarkable. I am so thankful for the successful outcome and the return to a better quality of life. This experience has been overwhelmingly positive.

I am incredibly grateful for the excellent care I received from Dr. Bitan. He performed a Cervical Laminoplasty at C2–C7 and an Open Lumbar Laminectomy at L4–L5, and the entire experience from consultation to recovery was handled with professionalism and compassion. Dr. Bitan took the time to thoroughly explain the procedures, answer all of my questions, and ensure I felt confident moving forward. His expertise and attentive care made a significant difference in my recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Bitan to anyone in need of spinal surgery.

I recently, (December 26, 2025), had a L4-5 laminectomy and foraminotomy performed by Dr. Liu from Atlantic Spine Center. I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis and lived with unbearable paid for three years. I tried pain management, physical therapy and of course the usual Ibuprofen and pain pills all of which were short lived fixes. I could not walk for long distances, felt pain and numbing down to the bottoms of my feet and lower back pain unbearable, my active life turned into isolation from going anywhere but work and back. Initially I was scared to do back surgery- questioning what if something goes wrong or it doest work etc, all the normal worries. However meeting Dr. Liu immediately put my fears and my family's fear at rest, his caring demeanor and positive assurances put us all at ease and the fears melted away. I went into surgery with a positive restful mindset knowing that I would be ok.
I went into surgery at St Barnibus Hospital in New Jersey and my gosh, every single nurse I encountered was so caring and nurturing, never have I received such amazing care from a group of nurses. At any rate- surgery was an absolute success. 2 days after surgery I was walking without pain, slight discomfort and feeling of pressure in lower back. By two weeks I could walk half a mile no pain. It is now February 28th I am comfortable walking 2 miles. At times I do need to take breaks but after-all the healing process is 3-6 months. I am no longer in pain of any kind, minor pressure if I am busy but those times I sit and rest for a few minutes then get back up again and go back to work. Dr. Liu delivered results that I did not think possible, his team are professional and caring. If you are diagnosed with spinal stenosis or any back paid, I highly recommend Atlantic Spine Center, especially Dr. Liu. To Dr. Liu- I am grateful! Good luck to you and your practice.

My experience with the staff at Atlantic Spine Center was excellent from start to finish. From submitting an online appointment request to my consultation with Dr. Liu and ultimately undergoing an endoscopic lumbar discectomy at
L5-S1, everything happened within a month.
I can’t say enough about Paola and Dr. Liu. They called me multiple times to check on how I was feeling, which meant so much while I was recovering. That level of care and compassion is truly incredible.
You will be in great hands with Dr. Liu as your surgeon. A+ experience all around.

I made the mistake of filling out a questionnaire about my back pain on their site. The next day I got a call from John who set me up with an appointment. My main concern was making sure I coukd use my insurance. I wanted somewhere in network, and they aren't in network with ANY insurance companies. But John somehow convinced me this wouldn't be an issue and I could still use my insurance (I have out of network coverage). When I said I didn't want that though because it was a whole different deductible, he reassured me that they do not balance bill and I would only be charged the $25 copay. I even had a second phone call with him entirely focused on this point and he emailed me a confirmation that I would only ever be charged the $25. Well I did the appointment, but ended up listening to my instincts about how sketchy it felt and didn't book another appointment. Thank god because 3 months later I got a bill for an additional $111 from that one appointment. I immediately emailed John, who didnt respond. I emailed him again and he finally responded telling me to call the billing department. So I did, got voicemail the first 2 times and left voicemails. Never heard back. Finally the third time calling someone picked up. She was nice, but basically said the people booking the appointments don't understand how billing works when they say things like that (let's all be honest here, John is straight up lying, and if he's actually misinformed, he needs training so he's not lying to patients). She said I could submit a form by mail to request a lower bill, and she would be sending it to me in the mail. I waited 3 months but never recieved it. Finally I sent a letter to billing dept. explaining the situation and included the email from John about only charging $25. I never heard back. Finally, 17 months after the appointment I finally just gave up and paid it because the amount of anxiety I was having over this open bill being sent to collections was too much for me. I don't know if ignoring people until they just pay it is their strategy, but it worked on me. I would NEVER come here again.
