I went to NM Stem Cell for wound care on two fingers. The treatment helped my fingers to heal faster. I was happy to get help because there was no available elsewhere. The whole staff was really nice and supportive. Thank you!!

The staff at NM Stem Cell are all wonderful! Very helpful and friendly! I received stem cell therapy for my knee very recently and I can't rate the results yet, but I am very hopeful that this painful long-term problem will be better in a few months.

FAT SHAMING. I went to NM Stem Cell last year based on an excellent word-of-mouth anecdote. I was desperate for relief from knee pain. I went through the orientation during which I received and signed off on all of the disclaimers. I was explicitly told at that time, during the “sales pitch,” that body weight was not a consideration. This was reiterated during the pitch. I would not have proceeded otherwise. Sign the release – pay the $8,000 – and here we go. There are, without a doubt, positive customer anecdotes, but those are quite subjective. When I received the “treatment” I was stunned at how non-medical it was. There was no baseline pre-treatment imaging and certainly no post-treatment verifiable imaging. What was the provable before/after? No need for objective truth when the outcomes are only subjective. This is not a medical facility. I knew it was a gamble, but I did not fully appreciate how non-medical the entire experience would be. I had a total of 4 injections. I received no relief and actually wound up with a sharp pain. During the last treatment, I told the CNP Heather that there was not any change and her exact words were “It’s probably your weight.” Let me describe my experience. The CNP (that gives the injections) wheels in a portable ultrasound and does a well-practiced dog & pony show with a grand pretense of knee anatomy & diagnosis with an ultrasound wand. These two greedy snake-oil business partners could not possibly deal with any medical circumstance, medical need, medical follow-up, medical emergency. None! No MD. I get it completely that some “patients” (i.e., $bank-rollers$) are helped. I was not. When I was not – it was MY FAULT. In my opinion, this was despicable. If you have $8,000 lying around and are restraining yourself from lighting it up with a match, go ahead – let it burn – at least you will have light and heat for a brief moment to show for your money. My fat-shaming experience was horrible and expensive. The band-aid assistant girl was in the room that last time with me & the CNP. She would have heard the conversation. Go to a medical doctor, get a medical diagnosis, find a medical facility, let medical insurance pay. If you go to NM Stem Cell, you are doing you part to enrich these greedy business partners. You are taking a gamble – winner/loser, who knows?
